noticed today buried on the official pin page is the official dates for next years event.. September 5-7 2014
no other details posted except 'stay tuned'

Hopefully I will get to go for more than just one day (Saturday). I hope they make Friday more "inclusive". Does anybody have any feelings about how successful the Friday "limited attendance" event was? Is it likely they will do that again? Was it worth it for those who got to go on Friday?

What exactly is this event?

Every year, WDW hosts a big pin event inside EPCOT, between Canada and the UK pavilions.

They used to be 3 day events, almost always at the beginning of September, but in the last few years, they've made Sunday a Vinylmation day with a separate ticket, and now they're making Fridays exclusive, limited ticket days.

They usually have games, auctions, event pins, and a huge trading room. They usually have an early registration at a hotel, and make it an all-time PTN.

They'll post more info in the Spring, and you'll know more about it then.

Thank you! That sounds like a lot of fun. So is this the biggest pin trading event of the year at WDW?

Oh God I could cry. I missed this year's event by 3 days. Next year's by a week. I cannot change anything about that, flights are booked, I live in Europe and going earlier would throw off all my plans :(( I hope someone is there and can pick me up some pins, I have a feeling I will be needing some...

Now the wait for the sign up. Had a blast this past event!

Just hoping I don't want to keep every pin so I can have some to trade.

Well well for the first time ever I wont be thre I am coming to florida a week later than usual and will be just getting off the Disney fantasy on the Saturday and unless they will let me just pick up the merchandise then which unlkely and I will check Im not coming!

These events sound like so much fun but I know I will be overwhelmed since I've never been to WDW before. I get this sense I will get so lost in just moving in between my hotel room and the parks.

I think this event is going to have some really nice pins. It says the events is based on characters we love to hate, I wonder who they will pick.

No problem. It's actually the biggest trading event, period. D23 is big in its own way, but it's not so much a pin trading event as it is a buying event. The Paris pin trading events can be big, and sometimes they do a one-day thing at DLR, but this event (which we usually just call the "September Event" until it has a name) is the big kahuna.

I didn't mention it, but every year has a different theme, too. Last year was Mickey's Circus, this year is something to do with Awards Shows.

Interesting.. I think that they have seen the popularity of the Villains and now they will work them again into the Event next year "the ones we love to hate"!! No complains by me on this!!

If I am still living in Florida next September I will definitely try to go to this event. Couldn't get the time off work for last years but my fingers are crossed for 2014. I love figment and the Imagination Gala sounds exciting.

This year's was my first ever event, and while overwhelming, I had a BLAST! I was lucky enough to be befriended by some event veterans, and I tagged along with them, and now I have new friends :D. I hope I can go to next year's as well, I loved doing the pin boards! Oh, and I may have clung to Gaston, like a squealing fangirl, on the Friday

Where between UK and Canada? Around the International Gateway shop?

Ill be a month too late as we are going in Nov to run the Wine and Dine Half, and do Food and Wine Festival. Bummer

Would be awesome to be able to attend this event!!! :) If all works out, we all might go spend next Christmas in FLORIDA with my grandpa, and take Kassidy to WDW!!! :x: (I would like to go sooner though! )
