I don't mean to start a war, but I do feel sorry sometimes for the people who design these dolls - they can never win, ever. Overall I think she's a rather pretty doll, as most of the dolls are in their pictures and we'll never know her beauty until she's seen in person, so I don't know if it's fair to judge her on two pictures. I'm sure people work hard at designing these, and truly believe they are really proud of their work, as they should be - without them we wouldn't have these gorgeous dolls. I'm not saying I've never complained over a doll, but sometimes I think people get a little too critical when we've not yet seen them in person. We're not owed anything and I think we should be grateful we even got an Aurora, rather than tear her to shreds because they don't meet personal expectations. I'll admit, to me no doll has lived up to Snow White's beauty, and I wonder if her poor initial sales kind of scared Disney from making more of her high caliber- always a hard call. I'm aware everyone has an opinion, and can share them, I just wonder if people need to be quite so....harsh? sometimes.
Like I said, I don't mean to start a war, and I'm not directing this to anyone in particular, just I've been reading a lot of negativity everywhere about her and I just feel so sad, when this is supposed to be a happy, exciting time to add another lovely doll to our collections. We need to appreciate the dolls more, I think, than just focus on the negatives.
*don't shoot me*
Agree with you 100%.
all these dolls get tore to pieces and then once people have them in hand everyone likes them more. I think some of what's said is a little harsh. I for one am very happy and love her.
