2014 Designer Dolls - Fairytale Collection Part II
D23 is having a contest for members to win the full set of dolls. Looks like it is US only though.

Mine just came in the mail today. It is cut big. I accidentally ordered an XL instead of XXL and it fit perfectly. However, it is very warm. Its a really nice sweatshirt, I'm bummed its actually an Xmas present.
 
The Cinderella hoodie! I just got it today, I had my brother pick it up from the disney store.

So I got it in a size small, for reference I am 4 foot 10 with a decent sized chest. It fits SO COMFORTABLY. If you're debating on it, I highly suggest getting it. It's very comfy, it's very soft, not too little and not too much room.

I love the fit, a little baggy around the arms and comfortable for me to wear all day. 10/10 would recommend

Didn't know that some hoodies were released! Look sooo comfortable! :)

Jesus, i don't think i can afford so much LE dolls next month... I really would like to have Pocahontas, Cinderella, Mulan and Aurora but that's just too much. :( Maybe my boyfriend will help me a bit by lending money but i mustn't rely on others money. So i am probably skipping Pocahontas... :'(
 
So this is really random, but can someone who gets all the dolls upload a picture of them together with last years Fairytale set (if they have that full set of course)? I just want to see what the whole series looks like all posed together. :)
 
I cannot wait for the couples to officially come out.
I am holding out for Tiana/Naveen, Pocahontas/John Smith, and Mulan/Li Shang :)
I am more leaning towards just Mulan because of money matters but it would be awesome to own all three.
I did buy the Designer Mulan Shirt,Mulan mug and Mulan journal. Also Tiana/Naveen mug and Pocahontas/John Smith mug~

Haha I totally feel you. I am not getting Tiana either, but I think she is gorgeous and just wanna see how well she does online. Plus I love seeing things like videos on Youtube of people getting them and doing reviews on them.

LOL. I've watched the last couple of online doll releases even though I had already gotten my doll at the store, and even though I preordered the set I will probably be tuning in for the upcoming doll releases as well just to see how they go.

Gah I love that sweatshirt even more now that I see a pic of it in person. Based on the sizing, do people think a medium would fit? I usually wear a size 6-8, and I was gonna get large because I heard Disney fits a bit small, but if this one fits larger I might downsize to a medium

You could get a medium. I was really worried the sweatshirt would be cut small but it wasn't. It was actually cut big, you should be fine with a medium.
 
So happy I don't need to fret every week about getting them for once I was successful in obtaining a full set on line whoopee :D
 
Not to get off the topic of that wonderful Cinderella hoodie (which I wan't even though it doesn't come in a male build), but how many people here have entered into the D23 Designer Doll contest? If you were to become one of the second prize winners (the people who will get one of the dolls at random), which one would you want? I personally would want Cinderella because I may not be able to afford her by the time she comes out, or I would want Pocahontas for my mom. Or, ya know, get Mulan for free seeing she is the one I want the most out of the whole set. :lol:

Yes I figure they will. When you compare the stuff we have now to what we got last year and the year before, its really lacking. So I think Disney will be releasing more as the weeks go on.

The Limited Edition Disney merch is just lacking this year. There was more merch in the Art of Ariel (and more diversity of artists) collection and the first designer couple set. I don't know if they will release new merch. I hope they will but I'm not counting on it.

I was told in my local Disney Store that yes there would be more merch coming out. But I know they sometimes get their info wrong. So we won't know for sure until the releases begin.


A little off topic but wanted to share this that my husband found lol. To go with our fairytale couples :D. I had never thought about relating them to real life lol well not in a couple kinda way

That video was hilarious lol. Its so funny to see what happens when you put fairytale situations and put them in real life.

So my patience for the dolls is growing thin. I am just too excited! I need to distract myself somehow. So does anyone have any doll collecting horror stories about getting the any past Disney Store dolls in the store or off eBay?
