DisneyStore Limited Edition 17" Dolls Discussion
For some reason my last order (blue Cindy) has a different VISA number on the "Order History" receipt. I have no idea how that is possible because I used the "Saved Cards" option. I reallyyyyy hope my order won't get cancelled because it still hasn't been charged from my VISA...
Has this happened to anyone before?

Im so glad you bought this up, the exact same thing has happened to me!, i usually pay with paypal but decided to save my card details on Thursday night as i didnt want to delay checking out by having to log onto my paypal, anyway i placed my order at 7.05 and everything seemed fine. Late last night i checked the order status and it did state 'active' however i noticed the card details on the order were completely different to the one i saved. I started to panic but when i went to the saved card details page i can see that my correct card details are visible. Anyway i checked my online banking and i couldn't see a pending charge for £100 so i called disney this morning. When they checked my order the incorrect card details were showing up against my order! As its the weekend they said they were unable to get it resolved today as they would need to raise it with their payment department and they don't open till monday, i was fine with waiting however, when i asked if the payment department would be able to amend my order if the system had charged some random card instead of mine they said if there was an error they would be unable to amend the card details on the system, basically i would lose the doll! The main reason i was panicking was because the disney Uk site was down for almost 4 days whilst they worked their backstage 'magic'. it was meant to be up by tuesday afternoon,(they couldn't even check orders etc even over the phone as the whole thing was down which i found quite strange for a big company like them to basically shut down for 4 days i mean surely they lost business??) Anyway. they didnt get it all back up and running until wednesday evening and once it was all up and running again, they sent me some random emails telling me they sent me refunds for some of the items i had purchased months ago, i then got an email thursday morning to say they they were having technical issues since they had upgraded and to ignore the refund emails, clearly the backstage magic hasnt worked!!
i was soooooooooo annoyed, they could have at least tried to reassure me that they would try everything in their power to try and resolve the issue esp as the error is due to their system. Anyway they did say check with your bank so after spending 20 minites on the phone to disney (I think the Cm was new and had to keep checking with her supervisor) i called my bank and they confirmed that there is a pending amount of £100 on my card!!!
If you too placed your order with through the UK site, i think the issue might be with the upgrade, i think some of the back stage magic has gone wrong, apparently they upgraded one of the payment systems and i think the new system is generating the wrong card details on orders. If you have just checked your online banking, call up your bank, the CM said that the new system only takes the £££ once the item is ready for dispatch, so hopefully your bank will be able to confirm the 'pending' amount against your card.
ps sorry for the looong rambling response, i was really quite stressed with it all lol
