For some reason my last order (blue Cindy) has a different VISA number on the "Order History" receipt. I have no idea how that is possible because I used the "Saved Cards" option. I reallyyyyy hope my order won't get cancelled because it still hasn't been charged from my VISA... :(

Has this happened to anyone before?

Im so glad you bought this up, the exact same thing has happened to me!, i usually pay with paypal but decided to save my card details on Thursday night as i didnt want to delay checking out by having to log onto my paypal, anyway i placed my order at 7.05 and everything seemed fine. Late last night i checked the order status and it did state 'active' however i noticed the card details on the order were completely different to the one i saved. I started to panic but when i went to the saved card details page i can see that my correct card details are visible. Anyway i checked my online banking and i couldn't see a pending charge for £100 so i called disney this morning. When they checked my order the incorrect card details were showing up against my order! As its the weekend they said they were unable to get it resolved today as they would need to raise it with their payment department and they don't open till monday, i was fine with waiting however, when i asked if the payment department would be able to amend my order if the system had charged some random card instead of mine they said if there was an error they would be unable to amend the card details on the system, basically i would lose the doll! The main reason i was panicking was because the disney Uk site was down for almost 4 days whilst they worked their backstage 'magic'. it was meant to be up by tuesday afternoon,(they couldn't even check orders etc even over the phone as the whole thing was down which i found quite strange for a big company like them to basically shut down for 4 days i mean surely they lost business??) Anyway. they didnt get it all back up and running until wednesday evening and once it was all up and running again, they sent me some random emails telling me they sent me refunds for some of the items i had purchased months ago, i then got an email thursday morning to say they they were having technical issues since they had upgraded and to ignore the refund emails, clearly the backstage magic hasnt worked!!

i was soooooooooo annoyed, they could have at least tried to reassure me that they would try everything in their power to try and resolve the issue esp as the error is due to their system. Anyway they did say check with your bank so after spending 20 minites on the phone to disney (I think the Cm was new and had to keep checking with her supervisor) i called my bank and they confirmed that there is a pending amount of £100 on my card!!!

If you too placed your order with through the UK site, i think the issue might be with the upgrade, i think some of the back stage magic has gone wrong, apparently they upgraded one of the payment systems and i think the new system is generating the wrong card details on orders. If you have just checked your online banking, call up your bank, the CM said that the new system only takes the £££ once the item is ready for dispatch, so hopefully your bank will be able to confirm the 'pending' amount against your card.

ps sorry for the looong rambling response, i was really quite stressed with it all lol

Disneyfreakingprincess, here's a sincere tip. If you want help from a community, you have to be part
if it. It looks like you only joined a month ago, so chances are people won't trust you to give you links. That has nothing to do with YOU, it has to do with the greed and scamming that has arisen over the past couple years. Many true collectors have had experiences trying to help people only to get burned by a scalper in collector's clothing. Again, nothing to do with you, but some of us have become jaded.

It's a general tip to all that if you join this community--or only contribute to this community--around release time, you look like a scalper or at the very least someone who's only here to take from the community when you need something.

Anyone can say they're a true collector in a forum or at a store, but that's because scammers have no problem lying right to your face if it means turning a profit. Again, not accusing YOU of anything, just explaining what this hobby has come to. I for one don't trust a lot of people when it comes to these dolls and would never share anything on here until it becomes public knowledge.

I get why people don't "trust" me yet or anything last year i tried to join but it did not work i have no idea why. and it's okay if someone does not trust me or anything but i think it's rude to say: if you don't find the links without help you did not look for it. and i would rather have people to say that they don't trust me than just ignore me. i think the scalpers don't even post something here but only watch (but i don't know) i've always used tumblr to get the links and stuff so that's why I am "new: to this group. I used my tumblr name so maybe someone would see my name and think hey i've seen her talk on tumblr on the popular tumblr pages. So i get why some people would not trust me and everything. but I do not like it when people say: you did not look for it or otherwise you would have found it. or go to a store if you want a doll. because i can't just go too the uk every time a doll comes out. and i don't have someone that I know there. and when i tried to say oh if you want too know if you can trust I can so my collection (it was a desperate call for help) people were like oh you are a scalper and why the hell do you even say something like that. I just wanted help and prove to people that they could help me without helping a scalper.

i my point is its okay if they don't trust me or anything but it was horrible when someone said oh that person who said: if you want I can prove that i am not a scalper. was mean to me. i was just trying to get someone to help me. I really felt sad after that...

I don't think it is a big chance that they would make a D23 villain especially a male. A D23 Elsa is more likely.

Phew... I don't mind if there is going to be a D23 Elsa. I already have a Elsa and Anna doll. As well as Kristoff. I just need a Hans doll to finish my Frozen collection :(
I debox my dolls so it would be pretty cool if Disney did a LE Hans in his "Love is and open door" Outfit. So I can pair him up with the Coronation Anna doll :(

Wow. I also love the outfit and song. Maybe I also need hans to pair with my incoming coronation Anna which costs me 905 euros buying from ebay and I have to give up upgrading my computer this year...

I complained on the DS Facebook page and they told me to email personal.shoppers@disneystore.com. They replied to me today saying they are sending me another Anna. So I'm hoping it's the right doll
Yup, this is what they told me as well. I have to ship back the extra Elsa, but they told me they have an Anna "reserved" for me. Hopefully I actually get the right doll this time >_<

im sorry you feel like that, i dont think the person that said that to you meant to hurt your feelings, i am new to the forum too, im a big cinderella fan and i joined as i found the cinderella merchandise thread really helpful source on what was going to be released for the live action movie. Im not a doll collector or pin collector but i did get blue cinderella and oins this time around as it was part of the collection that i loved. I think after i tried to get the pins and failed through disney (same situation as wedding cinderella basically sold out before it even appeared on the page) i realised that with any Low LE numbers i will never stand a chance without the link. I ended up buying the pins on ebay. (Got them close to retail as the market was flooded with them so i was happy) but my point is, most of us dont have the links and i think going forward most of us will miss out on the low LE numbers and need to prepare ourselves for it.
I dont intend to purchase more dolls apart from beauty and beast whenever thats released (cant afford them and dont have a place to store them but i love looking at all the collections and dreaming lol) but I think disney will now start to released extra special LE dolls like wedding cinderella more often, i think beauty and the beast will have a regular 17inch and a special very limited 17inch esp as disney now know that people are willing to pay the extra £££ for them. I think personally start saving for the extra special dolls now, if you really love one then of course try your luck on the day of the release, if not and you still want it then prepare yourself to purchase on ebay, its not fair but unfortunately for most of us it will be the only way we will get it.

They told me that there is nothing they can do and that I should call my bank, but I have no idea what I should ask my bank because it's clearly an issue from Disney's side. I'm so nervous now! I really don't want to end up buying her on eBay.

I would expect that most of the link fairies find information online through Facebook. I know the two LE doll pages post the links up as soon as they are available (probably after they've bought their own though?)

Yes you are right, it wont show up on your statement as the money hasnt left your account yet, it didnt show up on my online statement either. For peace of mind just call your bank again, just ask them to check if there is any money that has been put on hold but hasnt actually left your account yet. the bank will be able see that you have used your card to order something even though the money hasnt been taken. Fingers crossed we both get our dolls. I did feel really bad after the bank confirmed that there was £100 put on hold for disney as i was really annoyed on the phone to the CM but she was just so unhelpful, i was really stressed and emotional but ive worked in customer services in the past and annoyed customers are the worst so i feel guilty but the CM really didnt try and help me, it was all like not our fault, wait till monday its probably your banks fault and if it is wrong we cant do anything sorry, i really hope everything goes through ok for us both!
 
Disneyfreakingprincess, I'm sorry if you feel unwelcome. I don't think most people here are purposely trying to make anyone feel unwelcome, at least I know I'm not. But I agree with Quasimodo and the others, I noticed a lot of new people that joined the forum right before these recent doll releases and quite a few who kept repeatedly demanding links or items numbers and not really contributing anything at all to the conversation. I'm sorry, but not only does that scream "scalper" to me, it is also kind of rude. I'm not saying you did this, but this is why a lot of people won't respond to these types of questions asking for links and such.

Also, everyone keeps complaining about others having inside knowledge -- I for one don't know anyone on the "inside," and when I started collecting I couldn't figure out how people got links --- no one ever told me either. I relied on the link fairies. It's only been after over a year of collecting that I have a better idea of how it works now. I try to get all of my dolls in store now anyway but, even for that, I get up usually around 4 or 5am in the morning to get in line and wait for several hours outside, sometimes in freezing weather, to make sure I get my doll. I've done a lot of research on these dolls, and keep up with releases and what's going on. I've put in the work, so to speak, and I'm sure a lot of others here have to. So when people come on here only at release time and start asking others to give them information and links, it is extremely off-putting. Again, this is not directed at you Disneyfreakingprincess, but to this issue in general.

And just FYI to people -- there is not going to be a link to a doll that is still a week away from being released. I saw so many people asking for links here and on Facebook up to two weeks before the release dates. The link has to be "live" and that's not going to happen until the scheduled release time. It is completely pointless to be asking for links in advance.

Seconding amm3 as well. It's never personal, and it always has to do with protecting the community. I think it's safe to say that regardless of anyone's opinions of certain members here we will always help out fellow collectors. I'm sure it seems cliquish but unfortunately the scalper market has really forced it to be that way. The best suggestion I have for you is to become active here - even if for a time. I used to be mega active on here but have been much less so in the past year, but I like to think that activity is enough to let people recognize I'm a genuine collector. I know I've made some great friends on here, and that's another way. Sometimes you have.to put yourself out there (and as someone with anxiety disorder I understand that can be difficult), but I think you'll see that it pays off.
 
I am still searching for Wedding Cinderella. I used a link from facebook and was right there at 3:00 but she was sold out when I clicked add to bag. My internet was having issues that night so that could have been part of the problem. I know 250 is a super low edition number but it scares me that I did the same thing that others did and yet I missed out. Now I'm scouring ebay and hoping they don't all disappear before I'm able to raise $2200. I love Cinderella dearly, it was my first and most favorite Disney film. And the live action version was extra special because I'm an Anglophile who loves all things British. I also love fashion. So these dolls were Grail to me even before they were announced. I'm working very hard to try and get her. My fear is she will be gone from the market before I have the money. I specifically joined Disney Pin Forum in December to stay updated on Cinderella merchandise. I love seeing and being a part of all the doll releases but Cinderella is extra special to me. I could pass on all other dolls but not Cinderella.
I'll keep trying and hoping and praying and believing. (I'm in Columbus, Ohio, USA)

I deeply and truly appreciate the existence of this community. At least three or four members have reached out to me, to help me find Wedding Cinderella and that means the world to me.

It's definitely a problem with Disney Store as my card details are stored and I used the same card to get the Frozen dolls. I just read on Facebook that someone else has the same problem so we're not alone in this. Hopefully we can get this sorted and get our dolls!
 
I've just checked my order and it too is showing the wrong credit card number and expiry date :(

I've accidentally used the wrong Credit Card on a purchase, and they sent an email with:

"Regrettably, we were unable to authorize the payment information for your purchase or exchange. At your earliest convenience, please contact DisneyStore.com Guest Services at 1-800-328-0368 or 1-407-541-5585 with an alternate form of payment. As email is not a secured method of communication, please do not reply to this email with your credit card information. If no response is received within ten days, we will assume you no longer wish to receive this order and it will be canceled."

It was easily taken care of. :hs:

I'm so sorry you didn't get your Wedding Cinderella. I can tell how much you really want the doll and it is heartbreaking. Unfortunately, with such a low edition size, it's really just a matter of luck sometimes. I hope you are able to find her at a somewhat reasonable price since she means so much to you. :)
 
It makes sense that if Disney sent two Elsa's to an address by mistake, they would say "send it back and we will ship you the correct one" - as they have to get that Elsa to another person's who's order they messed up. Perhaps that is why so many of us have labels made but they have not been handed over to UPS....we gotta wait for them to come back. I wrote an email to DS asking about the non-movment of my tracking number and I was told to give it 24-48 hours to be handed over to UPS. I kinda feel like they didn't even read my message, they only saw it had a tracking number and gave me a generic response. I was also told to have a Pixie Perfect day too, which .....I will try.
