I know Frozen is just a cash cow and I really don't think we should have any more LE 17" dolls until the sequel at least, but I love Anna's Frozen Fever dress so much and it looks beautiful. Don't like Elsa at all, luckily!

And then nothing I can think of until the next frozen movie, wherein I expect at least a dozen wardrobe changes per lady, and at least one other beautiful lady introduced.

I'm actually mad that this is a D23 exclusive. They don't have anything of Leia out there and she's now a D23 exclusive?
 
Now that I am home from work and can know properly think, I am just so heartbroken that the rumor of D23 Red Jasmine is true. Jasmine is my absolute favorite princess and of course they had to start making a D23 exclusive 17" doll with her. I definitely won't be able to afford her, especially with an edition of 500. With that being said, I know for sure I won't be getting Aladdin or Jafar on release day. I'll save that money for Frozen Fever Anna & Elsa and DFDC Anna/Kristoff who will be hard to find on the secondary market for close to retail. I'm sure Aladdin and Jafar will be easy to get closer to retail after the holidays. It's not cool that they're releasing so many at once AND so close to the holidays too.
 
So bummed about all the d23 exclusives. we had planned on going and trying to get the once upon a time dolls somehow, but then our 18 year old cat was diagnosed with cancer so we're spending time with her this weekend instead. I was hoping red jasmine was a disney store pickup day release :(

Those would be legit if they were to get them right of course!
In defense of Frozen dolls, not all of us had the opportunity to get the original ones, nor were into collecting (or hell even knew about em) the 17" dolls when they came out, so I for one am grateful they decided to release the Fever versions so I at least have one of Elsa and maybe Anna without paying the ridiculous amounts for the original 4 that are out there right now, so I say keep bringing on the Frozen dolls, and the less people who want them, the better for those who do to not have to fight tons of others for them LOL

This. I only even learned about the 17" dolls with the release of the last set of Anna/Elsa and had no chance to get the first four. The last Anna with her end-of-movie outfit I actually prefer to snow gear Anna, but the purple dress Elsa isn't my favorite outfit or hairstyle, so the FF one I'm dying for since I'll never have 2000 bucks for the Snow Queen one, and I loved FF. :D

I mean they should absolutely get to characters they haven't done! I'd love a Mulan doll, for example. (Although I just know they'd put her in the matchmaker scene dress, which I hate so very much, and not her dress from the end of the movie when she's busy actually being *her* instead of some fake nonsense society is forcing her into, which makes me sad.) But I'm happy if they do new versions of ones they already did that I never had a chance at. (A less ugly Ariel I can afford? I'd be all over that, you could do some gorgeous things with the purple dress Triton makes for her at the end when he turns her human again! Or her blue peasant dress she wears for most of her time with Eric!)

Oh, we all forgot the mourning outfits from Frozen. :D

First of all FROZEN FEVER DOLLS!? I mean, I expected them to be made eventually, but this is completely out of no where! They look so wonderful too! Then the slave dress Jasmine is GORGEOUS, but I am really disappointed to hear that she is only LE 500. I didn't plan on getting her myself, but I know a lot of people wanted her, so I can only wish those who are going for her on the secondary market the best of luck! Then we have Jafar and Aladdin...oh my goodness. They both look great! I wish Aladdin was posed in his box a little better. I see what they were going for, but I think it could have been executed better. But really though, this is such an exciting day! I can't believe we got all of these pictures and info today!

They're 17" dolls, so they may not make them right away, but I'm guessing that we'll see more dolls of them in the future in different outfits, depending on their popularity. There's one Leia outfit I think would look stunning as a doll.

At least you aren't going to Disney World in less than three weeks just before the fun begins! lol It's going to be a crazy Disney-filled September, October, and November for me.

I agree!
I love Frozen to pieces, but at the same time I really hope Disney can acknowledge the fact that a 17" Mulan, Meg, Pocahontas etc are heavily desired dolls as I'd be all over that too! Also they need to make a 17" Cruella too as that would be all kinds of fab!
 
Oh jeez. I thought I was safe when I didn't like the designer heroes vs villains sets as much as I thought but now Aladdin and Jafar? I also really like the Anna / Kristoff set but I really shouldn't get it.
