Anyone here a Doonie collector? A friend was asking if I had any insight on when the new Pixar designs will be released. I don’t collect these purses, but thought maybe someone here might have some info.

I saw a flyer posted somewhere that said "June 2018." The bags are tied to Pixar Fest but I wonder if they'll drop around the time that Pixar Pier officially opens?

If I see anything more specific in my social media wanderings, I'll update you!

Edit: Here's the flyer; it was posted on a FB group called Disney Dooney & Bourke. Still the only thing I've seen with any kind of "date" attached.

Yeah, that's been the issue, it's just a vague "May" for the I guess general design and "June" for the AP.
I have a hunch they're purposely holding onto the dates...

There is a thread on disboards with releases and such, usually pretty on top of dates & things.
 
I saw on IG that they just released a new Cinderella collection. I don't *think* They do more than one collection in a month ... so maybe it's June for Pixar, period? I don't really know, though -- I admire the stuff when it comes out but don't really "follow" it.

I'm not familiar with their board, I tried to search for such a thread and came up empty handed. If you could link me, so I can share it with my friend I'd appreciate it!
 
Does anybody have information about sold out purses such as if or when they'd get more in? I found dooney dogs listed recently but missed out on the bag I wanted. Does anybody know if they'll get that style in again and when?

Me. I’m a Dooney lover. Well, Disney Dooney. Aside from my barrel cupcake Dooney and yet to be acquired NYY Dooney. I just got an Orange Bird one. Quite exciting. If you can get the passholder styles, those are always popular. The Flower and Garden AP one is sold out, but the regular styles were still there, at least for Darkside weekend.

The dogs release may or may not be restocked. Is it the tote you’re looking for? I believe that was the most popular style.
 
I loved the dog collection but it sold out so fast that I didn’t have a fighting chance.

As much as I love some of the patterns, the style of bag dictates if I purchase one or not and since most of them are totes, I usually just pass on them. I really wish they would make more backpacks

My mom has the Orange Bird tote, too. That’s the one I’m using currently. Even though it’s dark blue it still feels spring and summery, plus the long strap seems on trend for cross body. The whole bag is just super cute!

I don’t mind the busy patterns myself. I tend to enjoy big and bright and sometimes a little obnoxious things.

I can't use traditional purses or I get a lot of shoulder pain, so I'm limited to backpacks. I did love the Dogs design and one of the Avengers bags was pretty cute!

My friend got her purse this morning! She was pretty grumpy tho, said the release was plagued with scalpers. Someone in front of her bought 32 purses with their group of people? You guys thought pins were bad!

I had the same reaction. Never thought someone would bouy so many bags O.O But it really makes getting the bag much less fun :(
 
Looks like the pattern with the dogs is the most popular. I wonder if they'll make a matching one with all the cats? That could be just as popular.

They did. And it’s expensive on the secondary market. Certain bags just evaporate into people’s collections and it’s hard to get them after the intial release. There’s a red, white, and black villains pattern that was released in October of 16 I think. They don’t seem to pop up very often. :(
