The other colors were used in merchandise for the ride when it first opened. So I think the alternate version is awesome! Here's a vintage T-shirt design.

I had family in town this weekend, and am catching up on stuff. I noticed on the Disney Pins Blog that the 2019 DLR Wave A Hidden Mickey pouches (gold/orange) showed up at Disneyland. Has anyone heard/seen anything about the WDW versions?
 
I’m still seeing a scattering of WDW wave A in the parks and at some resorts. The wave B release seem to have started out slower than other releases I’ve seen.
 
As a graduate student on a budget I have been good all year, and yet I find myself needing these splash pins. I'd probably regret not getting them more than spending a bit more than I would wish...
