Yeah, I've seen that in several FB groups, and a lot of pinners on IG have been sharing it, too. Most unfortunate.

I have only seen the picture from wave A WDW, no info about dlr or wave b. @Pibbman I'm no expert, but yours looks good. I noticed that the placing of the mickeys on the back were wrong relative to the post and nubs on the reported fakes when compared to known authentic pins.
I could also just be making stuff up...

I agree, @Pibbman your pin looks good.
The key tells on all of these seems to be the texture on the back of the pin. As noted in my guide for Pin Textures there are multiple types of backs with the Mickey waffle pattern.

It can either be Smooth between the Mickey Heads, or Stippled. The real pins are Stippled, the fake pins are Smooth.
Also, the front of the fake pins are flat, while some of the real pins have details that make them not completely flat.
In addition there are other details
Candy Apples: Color differences, white dot on one of the apples
Haunted Mansion: The wallpaper details are blue not purple
If you are familiar with PincessShannon and PinceNick on the various socials, they have videos (but not on all platforms)
