I loved the Boo To You parade and seeing the Headless Horseman was amazing - plus there was a villains show with the Queen of Hearts and she did a meet & greet afterward - honestly, I think it was worth it for those experiences alone! But I remember thinking - why am I getting more candy at the...
Lol I must have done something wrong. I was happy just to get the small bag they provided filled instead of leaving with pretty much nothing as I did at WDW!
Nah - I had a blast seeing characters I loved. #worthit
LOVED this event in 2019 - so glad I splurged and went. So many happy memories - Burton Hatter and classic Chessie in the parade plus Loki wandering and Star-Lord meet & greet - absolutely magical! Got much more candy at this event than I did at the one WDW MNSSHP I went to where they were...
I need to rewatch Zoolander. If I had watched it recently, that might be my pick.
But I gotta go with Lightning McQueen. :) (Yes, over Mobius - he's great at being Owen Wilson in everything, but I have a soft spot in my heart for the first Cars film - it's still one of my fave Pixar films.)
So I was sort of right... :D
I went and looked at the Marvel character pins in person and they were the printing-on-paste process they've been using for a lot of the recent Marvel pins (Black Widow, Falcon & Winter Soldier, etc.). I don't like this material at all as it feels like the printing...
Was there this week and the CM's were great about letting you know where other pin boards/pin games could be found in the park. (Some are currently boards or plush with lanyards - no CM's with lanyards yet! - while others are numbered boxes and you get to pick two numbers and then they pull...
^ See timeerkat's comment. They also have a weird long one-piece rubber back that covers multiple pin posts. You can just take that off and replace with Mickey head rubber backs or whatever if you don't like it.
I really like them a lot - especially the range of sizes. The 'mini' pins are about regular rack pin size. The regular pins are a nice jumbo height. And the XL pins are HUGE. Like the length of your arm long! lol
I have a few keepers - Marvel: Infinity War Cap, Infinity War Star-Lord and XL...
I don't need these. I don't need these. I don't need these.
I may be stopping at a pin shop soon to look at these but I don't need these. (They already showed up at DL this week, for those on this coast.)
My collection is focused. My collection is focused.
For which, my wallet is quite happy! :D Bizarrely no Alice for the Paris flyer this month either which is just crazy.
But I know this month is going to be agony for my wallet. Just waiting for what's yet to come in this month of pain... :p
Figpins are really terrific pins - and I think they're underappreciated. I think it's the box and the weird rubber back thing that turns people off. But they are really cool pins. Their "XL" jumbos are crazy huge and cool and what they call a 'mini' is basically like rack pin size. lol
