Ok -- can we please close the thread......I appreciate the feedback and am following up with eBay and am working with a dear friend from the Boards to obtain her one and only extra of this pin....so if the moderators could close the post...that would be helpful. Thanks!

You should report the seller to eBay as a non-performing seller (and eBay can see that they are listing the same pins at a higher price).

Look into it because that just isn't fair and makes this hobby so heart breaking.
