Thought I would share the companion book to the princess castles. I had this book in my cart on Shop Disney and kept waiting to add to the order to save on shipping but....well I waited too long and the book was no longer available (although I’ve seen it pop up and disappear again). I was able to find the book at my local Barnes and Noble so free shipping in the end!

Anyhoo, I love this book A Home For A Princess. It has 9 of the castles (Frozen is missing) with pictures of the outside and insides of the castles. The illustrations are beautiful! I will only show Cinderella’s castle since it has already been released. Don’t want to spoil it for anyone.

3 Of the castles (interior) are a fold out - Ariel, Belle, and Jasmine.

When did you buy the book at B&N?

 

It was in stock last week so I ordered it for curbside pickup and went today to get it. To my surprise, the store was open so I went in. There were 3 more copies on the shelf.

So, are the various rooms ones that were seen in the movie? Or did they “make some up” for this?

 

I recognize the rooms from Merida’s castle but I’ve never seen the inside of Rapunzel’s castle. I’m not enough of a disney buff but it seems to be a combination - I recognize some rooms and some rooms I’ve never seen.

that the first journal is still available makes me hopeful that everything won’t sell out too quickly. It’s funny because the first time my family and I tried for it, we only ordered 2 pins and 2 journals collectively on two separate orders with two different credit cards, and 1 order with 1 of each was cancelled because we had the same address ... yet later on the journal showed back up (sigh, Family Disney collecting woes )

 

Does anyone know if the puzzle is reversible? I would only get the puzzle if it has the rooms, since the painting is wayyy too washed out for my tastes.

 

Puzzle not reversible. When I saw the back of the puzzle box, I was like man I wish this was the puzzle! I really love the puzzle as is though and I’m especially attached to the piece my cat (or dog) left their teeth marks in.
