If released on Saturday , that would be a nightmare. The Minnie Main Attraction release is already scheduled for Saturday, June 20.

 

If Disney is this stupid, I ... can't even think of something to say here. Ha.

 

Ah, I was just on FB and someone has a screenshot from a "bot group" purporting to show/have "early links" for both MMA and the Castle Collection. Thus the speculation about imminent release. No idea if this is legit or not, just reporting what I saw!

 

No official date yet. Saturday, June 27 would make more sense given the current schedule.

 

Very interesting...even for this bot.

 

Well, for the record, I want a Minnie plush and a castle journal. Might as well get in good with the "resident bot"!

Series 2: Arendelle Castle from Frozen

 

I have not seen anything on the shop disney website about Frozen Arendelle pin release today. Must not be today.

 

So is Saturday the normal day for these kinds of things to release? And what time of day (I’m in EST) do they usually get added to the site?

seeing how fast the Frozen pin sold, I’m definitely worried about missing out now that I’m 1 pin and the collector box deep haha

 

Entries Begin 7/13

Oh wow, really interested to see how that works! I wonder if it’ll be one entry per household, which would be the fairest way to go.

 

This “hopefully” allows for a better distribution of products. It will also pave the way for future releases (Minnie Main Attraction, Castle Series, etc.).

 

I wonder that too or if it’s one per email. Maybe one per email on the entries and one per household on the actual order?

Does anybody know for sure?

According to the terms, neither me nor any of my family members are allowed to enter this. I just feel so defeated if this is how collectibles are going to be from now on.

 

Question . . . I'm just slightly not with it today and this confuses me. Does this mean that for the Frozen II collection in the Castle series, you have to enter a raffle to get a chance to buy something and if you don't enter the raffle or aren't picked . . . you won't get a chance to buy part of the collection at all? That's what it is looking like, but boy - I hope I'm mis-interpreting this. Really raises flags!

 

Did some searching online and that's what it looks like. You have to enter a raffle to be able to get a chance to purchase an item! Disney just nailed their coffin shut as far as I'm concerned. Totally awful.

 

What happens if I am not selected for the drawing?

If your entry is not selected, you will not receive the early access purchase opportunity for the product. These products may be offered for sale at shopDisney.com and/or in the Disney store at a later date.

 

I suppose it doesn't matter really, as Disney will still allow bot buyers and the raffle is probably a farce anyway. Don't like the whole idea at all and can see a lot of problems that are going to come out of this. Actually, really a downer piece of news. And I really didn't need another downer thing in the world at the moment. -sigh- Oh, well . . . all good things come to an end.

 

You had a random chance at actually getting to buy this stuff on the site before anyway. Now you get the same random chance but without the aggravation of sitting at a computer watching websites refuse to load, your shopping cart suddenly go empty for no apparent reason and have to start all over, your account suddenly get logged out, get to check out and get random error messages, etc.

I’m cautiously optimistic. I’ll be super bummed if I don’t get a pin slot since my mom already bought me the display case for the entire series and I’ll be super pissed if it ends up looking like the bot accounts get most of the random slots, but I’m hopeful this is better than what has been happening.
