This will be my 1st time going to a DSF sale. I know DSF is closed for remodeling, are they still doing the show up at 6:30 get a number then drawing to see who gets pins. Going all the way from Glendale Arizona, very excited for a week at Disneyland with my grandson and of course his parents. Any tips on best places to trade would be greatly appreciated.

This Satureday release, the Jessica's...

Due to the remodel, the pins will release at the El Capitan. Because of business needing to run as usual, they are doing this release INCREDIBLY early. Ed said to be there around or before 5am. I assume they will do the usual wristband and voucher deal, then the pins will start selling at 6:30am.

Watch the DSF FB page for info. I assume they will post the official times and rules this week sometime.

Same deal, get a wristband, then get a lottery voucher. He siad they will have 3-4 registers working inside the theater lobby so it should go pretty quick. Not PTD line means you should be able to be out of there by like 8:30-9am even if you get the last number. Not sure what they plan to do if the pins dont' sell out? Keep them at the theater or hold them for the next release? I know I know, they will all sell out, but lets say they have an absolutely terrible surprise pin, like Merbabies anniversary or something, does it go in the back until NOv 15th? We'll see I guess. Some of those NBC pins might not sell out at the event later in October.

I would assume anything that does not sell out would just go on the racks when the store reopens. However for the NBC pins, if they are smart anything that doesnt sell out can go on a rack in the movie lobby. folks coming to see the movie might want them.

On to DLR trading:

Do not be afraid of the folks at the trade tables. Sometimes there is a shark in there, but in general everyone is pretty awesome. The Trade tables are in tomorrowland, just outside the Little Green men store.

for cast member trading, I like to walk main street about half hour or so before a parade or fireworks. Tonns of cast members with lanyards. Inside most stores is someone floating around with a lanyard. If you see a "suit" cast member, stop them, they may have a lanyard or a hip lanyard on them and often the suited managers have really nice pins on there.

Do NOT be afraid to ask to look at a pin before trading it with them. dont waste your nice authentic pretty pins on a scrapper someone else threw onto a CM's lanyard. And above all make eye contact with the CM before fixating on the pins. They really appriciate us noticing them and chatting.

Thank you guys for helping out. Can't wait to go this Friday. Won't get in till Midnight then half to get up early for Jessica pins. No sleep, but lots of fun, hope to meet some of you there. Also let me know if anyone is going to be at Disneyland, love to meet and say Hi. Again thanks for all the information!!!
