2014 Designer Dolls - Fairytale Collection Part II
So I just received an Evil Queen Designer doll from eBay today and the doll is in pretty good shape except that two of the rhinestones on the crown look like they have been re-glued as there is white glue glue/gunk on, under, above and all around the two stones, rather messy like. The rest of the stones are clean and clear. I asked the seller if they have been re-glued and she replied that the doll was never removed from the box and it came from the store like that. Personally, I kind of find that hard to believe as the inside cardboard is creased and bent in several places and very worn all along the edges. I also suspect that the photos she posted in the listing are not of the actual doll I received as there seem to be some marked differences.
Kind of getting fed up with the few experiences I've had with eBay as my SQ Elsa was missing rhinestones on her bodice, which I noticed in the first few minutes, and that seller didn't disclose that either. Funny I was just talking earlier in another thread about wanting to fix the rhinestones on my SQ Elsa but I don't plan on reselling her, and if I did, I would say that I did that upfront.
So for anyone that has this doll, do you have white glue like that around the crown? I am trying to be fair as possible to the seller and give the benefit of the doubt.
I'm not planning to open a case over this or anything, as I don't think it is really worth it. I don't want to give a negative review as I can't really know if she got it from the store like this or not. So I am trying to decide should I give her a neutral review or just not review her at all or what. Any advice?
Mine has those, I think they are supposed to be like petals. And on the cardboard "floor" and back drop there are weird green spots. Look like grease stains almost. Anyone else have that issue?

Normally with designer dolls I have to slightly adjust their poses but hers is absolutely perfect. I love the wings and how they change colour depending on the light.
Got my Tink!! #1465
I may have to debox her though. I dont like all the open space around her legs. Plus she is sitting on a high shelf and all you can see is right up her skirt. LOL.

I couldn't get Tink but im fine with that. I needed to save up money for other merchandise anyways. Plus, the NEW Fairy tale Designer Collection line will probably come out in a few months so I definitely gotta save up for that. Congrats to everyone who got Tink!
Do we know when the new fairy tale designer collection dolls will be out yet? Can't wait to see what Aurora and Cinderella will look like.
Oh okay, thanks guys. Guess I didnt really look over it all. I was too happy to open her up.The green spots are on the back, the certificate and the the front so they are on everyone's. I think it's supposed to be like water colour drops to Match the artwork but who knows lol. Normally with designer dolls I have to slightly adjust their poses but hers is absolutely perfect. I know I was like WTH. They are oddly placed so it was hard to see them as part of the design work.I thought the same exact thing when I got her and almost had a panic attack, until I began to see they were throughout the cardboard and realized it was part of the decoration. Odd spot to put those marks, they really do look like grease!
