Love the pics!! Thank you very much for posting them!! I have never been lucky enough to see any of the dolls in store pre-purchase. My nearest Disney Store is on Oahu, which requires a Hawaiian Airlines flight. Lol ~Really hoping to score Mulan and Briar Rose online. I own Belle and Jasmine from last year, and absolutely love them. Have a great day all! ~Aloha
 
Shang has one of the better faces because he is looking off to the side. The other men look spaced out and disinterested because they are looking straight ahead, and straight past the princesses. The pictures certainly make the girls look nicer though.

omg she's beautiful! ♥ i'm praying that i'm able to get her either at the store or online. Is getting her at the store 'first come first serve' like the LE doll? Or is it a raffle? Thanks~

In the US it's a raffle - but at least if you lose the raffle, you have a chance to buy it online the next day.
 
I have decided that I am going to try to get Mulan in store . It will be my first time trying to get any of the limited edition dolls in store (mainly because my nearest Disney Store is 40 minutes away), but I think I wanna try it this time. Ugh now I can't wait for October even though September JUST started!
 
I was able to go to my Disney Store today and I went crazy taking pictures of the Fairytale Dolls :




I also asked if there would be more merchandise and they said ( talking to 3 cast members @ same time lol) yes as the dolls come out. Probably Disney didn't want everything to be gone before all the doll releases kinda like last year. Can't wait to hopefully get my hands on each of them. Really really liking Cinderella which is not even one of my favorite princesses lol. Still unsure about how I feel about Mulan/Shang/Pocahontas/Smith face molds but love all the outfits. And I think Naveen looks better in person than in some of the stock photos. And ofcourse I wish Tiana had an opened smile. But overall very happy and excited ^^. They said bring like 20 people so you have a better chance to get a doll hahahaha....

I bet the pictures still don't do the dolls much justice compared to real life! I'm getting really excited now but also nervous for the Cinderella release especially.

Is anyone thinking about deboxing these dolls? DRJ1828 I'm hoping you will be!!! I love your pics.
 
I am considering trying for the in-store raffle for Briar Rose, so that way at least if I don't get her, I'll have a chance the next day. . For the raffle (my Disney store is in a mall), when should I get there? At mall opening?

I don't think it really matters if you are there when the mall opens or not as you are going to have your name put in a raffle anyways. But I guess it wouldn't hurt to be there early just in case. I plan on going around the time my mall opens too :lol:.

The raffles are conducted mid-day at all of the participating US stores. You need to go to the store between noon and 1pm local time to submit you name into the raffle. At about 1:10 pm or so, the raffle is conducted. You must be present at the raffle. If your name is pulled and you are not there, you will get passed over.
 
I saw them in person today, and I have to say, I'm kinda meh on Cinderella now. And I don't know what it is about her, I just feel like the artwork was so much prettier. Maybe she just doesn't look good in the box, since her dress is so scrunched up, or maybe the artwork expressions just didn't translate well into doll form... I dunno. I got the mug, though!

And I guess I shouldn't complain, since I'll be saving myself stress and money
 
I wasn't as thrilled with her in person either. I loved the dress but the doll herself just didn't thrill me. I was more impressed with Aurora/Briar Roses dress in person but still not all that impressed with Phillip. Naveen didn't bother me as much in person and OMG I seriously need Tiana. She is beyond gorgeous and her dress is breath-taking. I also was really impressed with Mulan and Shang as well, almost enough to get them over the other dolls.

I was able to snag all the mugs and journals. I just need 2 more shirts to have the entire collection, minus the dolls. Still debating on whether or not I can afford one of the dolls and which doll to get.
 
I actually have decided not to get Cinderella; I don't like her that much, even in non-stock photos. Plus, her face still bugs me. I figure someone who really wants the set should get it instead.
Oh, and I might go to my Disney store later (not sure, though). If I do, anyone want specific pictures of the fairytale couple merch or details of the dolls?
 

If you find the Cinderella Hoodie I'd love some photos of that!
 
Just got back from DS! . Orchestral, I am very embarrassed to say I didn't get pictures of the Cinderella hoodie for you.
. They actually did have a couple in stock, but they were folded on a higher shelf (not on hangers), and I thought the CMs might get irritated with me for unfolding one (especially since I probably wouldn't be able to refold it properly, lol), plus there wasn't a place to spread it out for a picture. . I am so very sorry! I probably will go back to try and get the Cinderella mug, and I'll try again then. . Again, I am very sorry.

Ok, so I snagged the Cinderella journal and the Briar Rose mug. . I wanted to get the Cinderella mug too, but I didn't have enough cash with me. So I'm going to go back eventually to try and get it. The dolls were on display, and I'm pretty sure I spent a full five minutes drooling over the Briar Rose set. (don't worry, as far as I know, I wasn't in the way for someone else to see. There was no one even in that area. ). The dolls were actually bigger than I thought they'd be, and oh, the dresses!!! They were so insanely detailed! I've never seen a LE or designer doll in person, so I was very, very impressed. . Of course, I probably would've been impressed anyways, but you know what I mean. The display cases are so nice, although I did think Cinderella's dress was scrunched a little. Her dress looks less scrunched in person than in does in pictures, though. I just love the Briar Rose set. October 22, come quickly!!! . I'm praying I'll get the set online, since going to the raffle fell though (long story, lol). I just have to get the set, or I'm going to have the biggest fit ever, heehee. . Hope everyone gets the set they want, since they are so gorgeous!! . The mugs are much heavier than I thought they'd be, and bigger too. Naturally they had the mugs on the very highest shelf of the fairytale couple display (silly thing to do, IMO), so when getting my Briar Rose mug down, I am holding it vveerryy carefully with both hands, and I'm like "Don't drop it, don't drop it, don't drop it". LOL. They had all the journals and mugs in stock, and all the shirts and a few of the hoodie. However, there were no Briar Rose mugs left after I took mine, since someone else took the last one as I left. They also had three sets of the lithographs. The journals are very good quality, and extremely pretty. .
 
I'm interested in the Hoodie too. Has anyone ordered or seen it that can attest to how nice it is? Is it real thin? Thanks for any help
 
I for one would like to see if Cinderella has glass slippers on.

I purchased the hoodie and I must say it is really nice and soft! I am out now so unable to take photos but pockets are deep, there are rhinestones and glitters on Cinderella's art. It's not thin but I feel like it may be just a tad thinner than your usual hoodies. I went to the store for the mugs and ended up leaving with the mugs and hoodie.
