Resolutions are a great way to start the year. However, the goal and accomplishment thread helped me, at least, keep focused after January, so why not combine the two threads into one heading into 2025.

I'll post mine in a separate post.

Do you have the new pages or the old ones? Maybe I can help with ideas

My number one goal for this year is to finally attend my first pin event at Walt Disney World.

I have also recently decided to reduce the amount of pins that I collect from certain retailers like BoxLunch and Pink A La Mode, and I would like to continue with this just to keep the size of my collection more manageable.

@Marie1 Good luck with your resolutions!!

Do you know of any pin events currently scheduled?

@collycon Thank you so much for the kind words and welcome to the forum!

The pin event at Walt Disney World that I was referring to is their annual pin trading event. The theme for this year is Celebrating 25 Years of Disney Pins. I have always wanted to attend one of these events in person. Hopefully this will finally be the year that I can make it to one!

There will also be a Nifty Fifties Flashback pin trading event held at Disneyland this year.

I'm going to look into these. I don't collect high value pins, I love the mystery sets, but I'd love to go to an event also!
They always release at least one mystery set at the event, and usually more. And lots of other pins that aren't really "high value" (although often one or two really take off) but can be very nice. The event itself is a ton of fun with lots of opportunities to trade with other folks and also to trade off boards with the Disney staff with chances of getting AP/PP pins. (Which don't really add value to the pins generally, but are fun to have.) And things like previews of next year's pins, opportunities to meet the pin artists and get signatures on your pins, etc.

That said, for those who don't want to go to the event but want the pins, there are usually folks (myself included) that offer pick ups for forum members.
