2026 Pin Releases & Discussion

It is *really* hard for CMs to get pins for themselves let alone as traders. If you are on social media, you will know there is a big problem with bots, backdoor links and CMs sharing their personal info...being used by non-CMs to purchase pins. You think a 12K number is bad on a DisneyStore.com release, apparently queue numbers have grown into the 40K+ for these CM releases. So something to keep in mind for trying to get recent WDCS / MOG releases.

That's really awful considering that CM exclusives are one of the little perks that are still left to a lot of Cast Members.

Ah well, looks like that'll end up being a costly trade down the line for me >.<

EVERYBODY needs that castle window. Myself included.
Yeah I’m not going to lie that seeing that pin come up for an event was salt in the wound for those of us who tried twice to get it and were told it was “sold out” . Disney, if you always planned to hold some back for an event, how is that translated to sold out?

That pin is a pretty little Prima Donna 😂

I was thinking this too.

I think the Window and the Pooh pins being available at the event is a backup plan. I think the site crashes affected how many they sold in December. So I think the stock they are selling in NYC is what they intended to sell online but failed because the website couldn't function.

Reactions: Ajk
This was my first thought when I saw it, too. If not, they really should do the events first to avoid that frustration of seeing a “sold out” pin at a later event.

Thats a very plausible. I guess my thinking on it then - why have it as a part of event? The original customer offer was for customers who shop Disneystore online.

The second time around should have been an RSP online and allow any of us who shop on Disneystore to fill one out. Very few of the original customers that had the pin dangled in front of them to wake up for the pin twice will get a chance to purchase it at NYC event.
