I started the day out having a community yard sale. I won 2 ebay bids on pins and completed some trades!!! YAY!

BUT

Then my wife had her Iphone stolen! This really sucks and I have been trying to find her a replacement now. I hate dealing with ebay so craigslist is up next.

If any of you have or know someone who is looking to move a iphone let me know. I have to sell some pins first but I am hoping to have the money in a couple of weeks.


Sorry for that rant! I am just a little upset at how people can be such arse holes. at least I was able to win somes pins today...lol
 
My son's phone got dunked at WDW. He's also looking for a replacement. iPhone, Focus, Focus S, etc. AT&T network.

Sorry yours got stolen.
 
YES whoever your provider is..you can go online if you have the ilocater and it could tell you where it is...or something like that

They should be able to locate it. If not, I believe there's an app for self-destruct. Hope you get it back.
 
Ugh :(

I'm new to the iPhone but with Blackberrys I know you could take the card and everything out so it couldn't be tracked...not sure if the same applies here. I have heard of the self destruct/shut down apps though.

If that happens again RUN to Michaels/Jo Ann Fabrics and buy Silica gel for drying out flowers. Put the entire bag of silica into a zip lock and throw the phone in there. Forget about it for 2 days minimum! Don't even think about looking at it for 2 days, just set it in a closet. After 2 days plug it in and see if it turns on while it's on the charger. I dunked mine in a clean toilet on accident when I was reaching for some pills. Still works great.
 
That sucks :( sorry that happened to you. Fyi, maybe you could check craigslist to see if the person who stole it is trying to sell it. I've heard stories where people have checked craigslist and found someone trying to sell their stolen items.
 
Thanks for the kind words everyone! She only had it a month and we dropped the ball on the icloud being activated :(

ATT was of no help and just kinda shrugged their shoulders and said " Sorry but there is nothing we can do"

The phone was deactivated right away. Still waiting to see what happens or if the idiots that stole it get caught.
