OK, as you all know, I'm trying to downsize my pin collection and I'm going to let go of some of my framed sets. I have an AP framed set of the Chernabog with the ghosts. It is in a beautiful frame and all original. I have no idea what to ask for it and so I'm asking the pros. You guys are smart and maybe you can help me figure this out. Thanks so much. It is Pinpics #26382 only mine is marked AP.

My experience has been that the AP status doesn't really mean that much to people. I think you could probably get $150 for the set.

I traded an extra framed set of Chernabog and the Ghosts that I had about two yeras ago. Got about $110/$115 in pins for it, costs me more than I expected to ship but the Trade was okay.

I, personally, do not put much value in the AP status of the set. I would not pay more for an AP that I would for a set that was not AP.

I absolutely LOVE that framed set, but like what the other 2 have said, I do not think AP means much. To be honest, I would rather have the original pin and/or framed set than the ones that are marked AP.

For this framed set I will give you...MY SOUL. @_@

Lol, sorry Margaret, I have no idea on this one. One was on UK eBay at some point at a Buy It Now price of £120 (that's pounds, not dollars) and it didn't sell. Considering that the original retail value was $98, I would've thought it would be worth much more than that by now.

I wish I was able to get this set too, maybe in two months. Personally, I think AP pins if authentic are a treat to get as they're one of the first pins pressed and have a slight better quality. WDI on occasion sells many one of kind AP frame sets of which are highly sought after. On the downside I had a couple of pins, while legit, that had AP/PP marks said to be "fake". A few members here believed that it was added upon after a purchase to to inflate its perceived resale value. That said unless you have an certificate of authenticity for it's AP status, you're probably not going to get any more then selling it as normal set.

off topic slighty... if you happen to decide to sell the pin thats my avatar then please let me know XD

back on topic - Im not sure about price but I agree with the AP mark that it doesnt really add value to anything as to me its exactly the same pin just with AP on the back.
