Hey everyone!

I’m a big fan of the Aladdin TV Series back in 1994-1995. I was 10-11 years old at the time and I absolutely loved it and I’m peeved that the show is not on Disney+ yet..

Anyway, I wanted to talk about that over the years, there were no Aladdin TV Series pins of the villains made…

The only things I found that there are some figurines of the villains like Abis Mal and others.

But how I wished there was a enamel metal pins for Mozenrath, Mirage, Mechanicles, Abis Mal, etc.

I bet many of you on this forum would LOVE to see pins for those characters :) I Do and one of my best friends want them made as well. :)

There are many independent enamel badge makers out there. Who make cartoon character ones. The trouble is… do you need permission from Disney before you make them? I really want badges of the villains from the TV series made and sold… I wonder how many of you want it as bad as me? :) what do you guys think?

Are you talking about the category of pin trading known as fantasy pins. Fantasy pins are typically not considered legit Disney pins. I don't really go for these for my collection, so don't really have much to share on this topic.

If you do want to go legit. There are licensees (Loungefly, Uncas, Monogram, Artland, Salesone, etc.) who make legit licensed Disney pins for what lately seems like an endless stream of pin makers (Kraken, Pink a la Mode, Amazon, Boxlunch, Hottopic, etc.) If you do want to go legit, I would start with the licensees mentioned above...

I love fantasy pins. Some of the art is beautiful. I don’t think (m)any ask permission from Disney and are gambling that Disney turns a blind eye to the product they sell (pins, bags, t-shirts, anything) because presumably profit margins are thin (although some popular makers seem to do fine) or not worth it or Disney chooses not to at their discretion. Some fantasy pins are pricey, and some are quite affordable. Lots of variation out there.

I didn’t really watch the Aladdin TV series but love Aladdin so I too hope it shows up on Disney+ one day. Search Insta, FB, Etsy; you never know. Someone may have already made some or be interested too.
