AGH?! What do you do? Can you get another job elsewhere? I guess don't fix the car? Can you return the old transmission at the junkyard?

Well idk what to do from here yes I can but its like where to start can't fix the car right now for obvious reasons the tranny I got from the junkyard its a really good one and then the ignition coil went out so it still won't start

Sorry to hear all that. It is frustrating... if its not one thing it is another. We just had to get 400 dollars worth of work on my dads car again and we had to replace the entire toilet for 350 last week. And the fact that i'm now 2 years out of college still at the same part time job i've had for 7 years and still making min. wage isn't helping much. I wish you the best with your job and the car. I know its rough out there, but as Dory would say just keep swimming

Minimum wage is going up again? Does anyone else view that as a pay cut for everyone else not on minimum wage? I'm thinking people should be upset everytime they raise minimum wage. I know I am. :rant:

no,no no! Even when they raise minimum rage it is barely a livable income. They aren't taking money from me.
 
Well my car is stillmessed up repled the ignition coil, battery, some sensors and it still won't run the bf thinks their is a short somewhere in the car with the electrical damn and I'm hoping I might get the job I want sometime this week
 
Good luck with your job search. At this point with all the replacements, I would just hold off on any more repair work. See if you can get the money back for those items (hopefully all of it) and find reliable transportation (maybe a bus for now, or your bf)
 
Good luck hun! I hope it all works out for you. I know things can be tough but I know you can get through it. But with the car I think its time to start saving for a new one and look into public transportation or maybe borrow a family member or friend's car until then? maybe? But I really do hope that job works out for you love bug. Cheering for you that's for sure!
 
UPDATE
Thank you somuch everyone for your thoughts and prayers but the car is still broke now we think its the timing belt which if we do it wrong it will mess up the whole engine and no I didn't get the job I wanted but I might have something for weekends so that's a start and I was considering about selling some of my pins to raise funds for the september dsf releases and for some special pins I really really want from a fellow dpf member so I will post some up a lil latter one might be my reveal conceal belle and a podm lion king I got so stay tuned haha lol

omg thank you so much everyone the lastest is the car is fixed it was the timing. Belt and some wiring the mechanic I take all my cars to helped me out so much he only charged me 90 bucks for 4 hrs of wiring work and 280.00 for the timing belt and the best part is my mom put 100.00 on the car my bf also put 100.00 on the car so I only owe (drum roll please) 180.00 left and the mechanic is gonna let me do payments for the rest so I'm still gonna go for the podm mulan release idk yet about dsf I would really like to go and my friend will be going so I would be able to pick up 2 extra sets at a cost of course I did get a job its only on weekends 6am to 2pm sat and sun (better then nothing I know) I was able to qualify for ebt and I'm still waiting for unemployment to hopefully approve me for 216.00 a week omg I'm so happy I'm crying thank you so much everyone I'm gonna go through my pins here soon
