This Saturday is the 3 Jumbo Jessica pins release at DSF. Someone already posted questions about the next one, april 13th. and the image below was provided on there by Ozzie. ((thank you!!))

Keep the thread on topic about this release please?
Can we dicuss:
  • logical times to show up for overnight?
  • If it should even BE an overnight campout.
  • what you all think of the pins coming out.
  • Which of the three is going to be the best trader?

this is not an "OMG should i get there wednesday to camp out.... OMG everyone wants them, OR an OMG they are reselling for sooo much" thread. It is for rational discussion. No hype, no drama, just discussion of LOGICAL line up times and Q&A about the pins.

 
Honestly I think morning of for this one. There will be the nutso's waiting all night, probably 75-90. I think 7am is fine for all 3, 8am is fine for anything but Paso Doble, 9am is fine to get one of them and a possible surprise pin if LE300. If surprise is LE150 then maybe before 7:30 to be safe. I don't see a suprise pin, there isn't a holiday for them to do one for again until Mother's Day. There are only 3 pins but they are 3 Jumbo's which we've never seen DSF do before. The next releases, the gumballs and the BT's I dont' think there will be a suprise pin. 4 of each, standard like they used to.

Unfortunately, As that is the only one without Roger, It will be the first to go. Most Jessica Collectors do not collect Roger. Not all, but most jessica collectors.
 
For those attending, do you Paso Doble will sell out in the first 150? I already have a Waltz on reserve from one of the nicest DPF members, but Paso Doble is so pretty!!!! I'm still torn on which one to get haha

I'm pretty sure a handful will not buy everything. These are pricier than most as they are jumbos. I think 151-155 still have decent chance. After that it really depends on people react when they see it in person and make the game time decision. Who knows. Maybe only 120 people show up and they are all there until lunch time. You never know.
 


To be honest, I really enjoy overnight releases when the weather is nice. I also like it now that I can buy the pins the next morning and not have to wait an additional day.

But really, follow the rules, play nice, and we will all make it through this.

Two weeks after the pin has been released, if it is still in stores, it can be ordered via phone order
