I am sure it varies from person to person, but overall, how are pins with misprints viewed? My girlfriend Kaitlyn purchased this pin

http://pinpics.com/cgi-bin/pin.cgi?pin=86313&sid=2077.1319988708

It was shortly pulled from circulation after an error was discovered. The names for Ursula and the Evil Queen are switched around.

I haven't seen anyone express interest in it, so I thought I would ask how misprints are viewed

I collect Misprint pins..I have no idea why....I think they are kinda neat..especially if the character is upside down or wrong date
I guess I like them for my collection

No one thought the misprinted stamps with the upside down plane would be worth anything and look how much they sell for now. It's probably something worth holding on to since there will be so few of them, especially if the pin was actually pulled from circulation.

i love pins that have been pulled... not so much mis print. but for what ever reason they pull them back. It makes the pin a LE ???? pin in my eyes. We have a CM only pin that was supost to b scrapped cuz fakes were out... we got a real one..and now there is no way to know how many real pins got out... so in sum ways its cool to have a pin that was pulled back for what ever reason. or atleast i think so..

Much like a misprinted postage stapme, pin misprints can be seen to increase their value. In this case an already LE pin has become even more rare as it will be unknown how many were sold vs pulled. But in most cases the error is simply noted in the pin description - typically spelling errors that were not caught before the pin was sold.

I'm happy I bought one before the error was discovered.
