Title says all. We all know about pin scrappers, but are there lanyard scrappers as well? :O
 
As in, faked lanyards? I can't imagine...there wouldn't be any money in it. If someone wants a cheap lanyard, they can just buy cheap lanyards at Wal-Mart, or the dollar stores...or make their own from ribbon/trim. They even have Disney ribbon and such at Jo-Ann...
 
I never thought of this b4. I think sum one asked about booster packs and if they are scrappers. i think the anwser was no. ( i could b wrong) I have not ever been told or seen anyone talk about scrapper lanyards. mayb sumone has a update.??
 
I've seen many homemade lanyards or non-Disney related lanyards people use. I have a Brad Paisley lanyard, it's not Disney, but it's not a scrapper lanyard. Is there a specific lanayard that is a Disney lanyard sold at the park you think is faked? Like the Nerds! lanyard or something?
 
People use all types of lanyards to display and wear their pins but I don't think there are "scrapper" lanyards.

There is fake Disney lanyards on evilbay as I found out when I purchased a Disney cruise line lanyard only to find
out it was very poor quality and had only embroidery on one side with bits of thread everywhere on the other side lol
 
Oh you can usually tell by some of the metal bits i.e.
some on evilbay have metal (where the card holder hangs) when in the parks its plastic I seen one on the bay like that funny it was from china lol.
 
I don't know of fake lanyards but there are a lot of un-official Disney lanyards that are not from the Pin Trader line. The Pin Trader lanyards have that D-ring on the bottom and not a clip or hook.

But since Disney sells the licenses for the movies, there could be lanyards based to promote the movie that are still official but they're not from the Pin Traders series.
