Art of Aurora US Pin Release?

Hello all!

So recently the Art of Aurora pin was revealed to be released online in the UK on July 31st. I have heard rumors going around that the pin will also be released in America, but I can't find much information past that. If the pin is being released July 31st in the UK, then will it be released in the US on the same day? I know that usually these limited edition items are sometimes released on different dates depending on the country. The US Disney Store isn't exactly reliable with this information, so I am trying my best to be prepared for it. Any help would be appreciated .

Yeah I live on the east coast here in the US, so I have been staying up every night till around 3:00 in the morning just to be safe. I am thinking they will unveil the whole Art of Aurora collection when they put the pin up online, seeing they already have a section made and putting it up the day the doll is released would be a smart move in my opinion. This is why I wish the US Disney Store would be a little more helpful with these types of things though so I am not loosing sleep over a pin of all things haha. But, considering how fast Disney Store exclusive pins sell, I pray its worth it in the end.
 
I can't lie and say I'm hoping it'll be a worldwide release because it'd be fun to finally have another EU exclusive pin that's actually popular. :lol: But a worldwide release would be the most logical and fair thing to do for an "Art of" pin.. It's a really low LE size, though. I wonder how many EU and US get in the case of a worldwide release. I'm keeping my eyes peeled for any news on a US release, though, I've read nothing yet.
 
I wonder how many will be available on the UK site next Thursday? I'm hoping I'll be able to get one but if it's not EU exclusive then I think they're gonna go pretty fast!
 

The truth of the matter is I'm glad the US doesn't announce it. Is it mean? Yes. But if the US announced it like the UK did, we'd have everyone staying up on the nights of the surprise releases (when everyone who is up is just betting on it) and then the pin would be really hard to get if your instincts are right O_O I know 3am is ridiculous since I'm an east coaster too but you gotta do, what you gotta do.

Art of Ariel was LE300 so 250 were in CA, and 50 in the UK. I'd be fine if they did like 150 for the UK and 100 for the US for Art of Aurora to make it more fair. Just make sure CA gets NONE since 1 state alone got 250 Art of Ariels LOL
 
It went up on the US website tonight. I went away from the site for ONE minute not realizing that the Art of Aurora merchandise was put up, and I come back to find it sold out. My browser didn't wanna update the items on the site apparently because I had no idea it was there until it was too late . Congrats to those who did get her though! She looks very lovely.

That has been known to happen when it sells out in a moment. But this one seemed to be up for long enough. Still it can't hurt to check in an hour or so. That happened with the Frozen jumbo.

This is my first post! Woot! The weird thing is, I can add it to my cart and then not be able to buy every once and a while. Did this happen for the frozen release too?

While it's possible the pin will occasionally show up throughout the rest of the morning, the Frozen pin was a very odd occurrence because they sold out before the site even updated and then later on in the evening, 100s came back up for sale, not just 1 or 2, hundreds. I do think this pin is sold out since it was available for purchase for all of like 2.5 minutes. Congrats to everyone that got 1, it appears this pin is LE500 after all.
 
Plus it didn't show up on my end until it said it was sold out. I was constantly refreshing and everything.
 
Was anyone actually able to order that pin from the US site? I wonder, because I've seen posts on Facebook filled with people who missed it. I heard it went fast.

I was able to get one along with a few people I know. There are also 2 people I've seen on Fb who were able to get 1 so I at least know 5 were able to sell lol
 

Absolutely. And I agree that it is sold out in the US market. Like I said, it cannot hurt to check again later.
