I have had horrible luck with auctions in the past. Mainly due to my own fault ( the pin / timing)

So I thought I would see if there is any interest on here before putting a pin that I really love up

This is my favorite pin...as the movie is one of my top 3 favorites! ( The fox and the hound, Robin Hood are the other 2)

Thanks for stopping by! If there is enough of an interest I will put it up. I know its not the greatest pin out there but I would part ways for another pin off my wants ( I will not be overvaluing this pin just because its awesome and my fav)

With auctions you have to be patient. If it's not something huge like a PODM or BT even non major movies they take a while to gain interest. Just keep bumping and you'll find someone.

Just curious...if its your favorite pin, why do you want to auction it?

Its my favorite just because of Oliver. I really want to expand my collection and without the $$ to buy pins I have to try and auction off the better pins I have ( not that many)

I am still not decided on auctioning it off. Especially if there is not a great interest. It will be happy to stay in my collection.

In the same vein as other commentors, I love this pin but have nothing to bid .

To be honest, I'm not sure if it's great for auctioning. I know that there will be some people that want it, but you'd be relying on finding at least two people who really want it in order to start get some seriously good bids, and if there's no one fighting the top bidder then you may end up disappointed. It's got a pretty good trades to wants ratio but I don't know if that's such an indicator of whether people would bid.

That said, there are already two people in this thread who've said they would be interested, so you have a pretty good chance of at least getting some bids - just don't set your sights too high in terms of what pins you might get. Perhaps you could consider selling it to make money to buy pins you want? If you put up a set price and no one goes for it then you've still got your pin, whereas if you put up an auction and get bids that aren't as good as you'd hoped, you still have to send it off. Just an idea though, ultimately the decision is up to you!

I am open to straight out trading it too...just wanted a feel for the pin before I took those 2 avenues.
