Beloved tales..... Up pin

Well as many of you know, I have just fallen in love with the movie Tangled. I've started collecting pins from the movie UP a few months ago. Well, I can't afford to collect both expensive pins at the same time. So...... If I put the Beloved Tales Up Pin up for auction, would anyone be interested? It might be my chance to get a good tangled pin. Also, I've never done an auction before. What if no one bids some thing that would an acceptable trade for my pin. What do you do. Do you have to accept something anyway? Help in that department please. Thanks

I think you will get really good bids for the pin, so I wouldn't worry about that. I don't collect up so I wouldn't bid but many members on here do.

In an auction you must accept a bid and trade at the end. Up is well loved and I'm sure you would he good bids

you'll get good stuff! specifically list what you are looking for. and what you ARENT looking for

Also, if anyone has any helpful information on how to upload pics if pins from your iPhone or from pin pics, I would greatly appreciate it. When I do the auction, I would like to show the picture. I just have a hard time every time I try to do. Haven't been successful yet.

I recommend uploading the picture to photobucket or another image uploading site. You should be able to do it from your phone.

I would recommend trying to trade it if you want Tangled (not auction it). Try to trade it first (although it's value has fallen to about $80 judging by what I've seen on the bay) before offering it for auction. Mainly because you have to accept someone's bid in an auction.

If I would try to do that, how would I obtain the trade offers? Is there a forum just for that? Of course, I want to get a good trade for it but I think an auction would be so much fun. However, its as you said..... you never know what you'll end up with. Thanks for the advice.

Yes, you can make a thread in the Pin Trading section saying you are trading it and say what you are looking for, you might get some good offers.

Another thing you might be able to do is when you see anyone new posting that you haven't compared your Pinpics account to yet, see if they want the Up pin and then see if they have anything you want. If by some way you guys match up, send them a PM, it can't hurt.

I agree with starry, I'd wait before doing an auction. An auction is very random because it can be really good in that you get more than you bargained for (because many people are looking for it and try outbid each other) or you may not get enough of what you want. Either way, in an auction you have to trade for the final bid, so if you don't get enough of what you wanted, then you are out of luck xP However, auctions are fun for both sides.

It all depends on what you're looking to get. Tangled pins are really high in demand and as long as they keep making pins for it, it will always be popular. What until more beloved tales come out or until the trade numbers on pin pics go down. That pin has grail potential because it's a popular movie and it was a surprise pin and people were only allowed 1 instead of 2.
