Box From My Pin Fairy Godmother
So, I started my pin collecting with Hard Rock pins. There was a wonderful woman back home in Hawaii who helped guide me in the hobby after I jumped in feet first (read: spent too much on pins) and taught me about what to collect, to narrow my search from "everything I could get my hands on" to more specific themes, and to not go too overboard. I've always joked that she was my pin godmother.
Well, I met up with her again on my most recent trip home and we sat and talked for a couple of hours. During that time, she learned I collect Disney pins. She looked at me and said "Oh, I used to collect Disney pins. I'll send some to you." This past week, she sent me a tracking number.
Holy cow! I was not expecting the box that showed up on my doorstep. She is now officially my pin fairy godmother!
The box weighed almost 7 pounds and was filled with all sorts of cool stuff.
