Broken pin posts...

I have a couple of pins in which the pin post has broken off at the base. It's not the post itself that has bent and broken, but the base of the post has separated from the pin back.

Has anybody had this happen? Have you tried to repair them? Super glue, JB Weld, anything?

i'm new in the forum. i just recently had this happen to me. I bought a food and wine pin and when i got home and took the pin off the cardboard one of the post came off too. did you ever find a solution?

jb weld is what I hear the most in these types of threads.

I haven't had a post completely come off- mine that have broken have bent and snapped, as if the metal was brittle. Not much to help that problem!
