Hi! I am a newbie to the forum and I'm wondering if anyone out there can help me. I have 3 broken pins, the actually pin point broke off. What is the best way to get these fixed?

It depends if you plan to keep them or trade them .
If I'm keeping them I just break them off if I'm mounting them in a frame or use a stronger locking back if they're going in a book / album .
If they're for trade it's a bit trickier , I've tried using a small amount of superglue to stabilize the post but it hasn't always worked too well . I'd probably just leave them as they are and let the other person decide what they'd like to do in most cases

Thanks for the reply. I will be keeping them because I really like them. I tried glue but it didn't work. I was thinking I'd have to get it sodered

If you're keeping them I'd suggest removing the post as close to the base as possible and then placing a small amount of superglue in the spot and then reapplying the post . If you have the resources to solder the pin that would probably be best though , my metal working skills are zero

There are actually people that will repair broken pin posts. Check with a jeweler. If you're in So Cal, there is a guy who does it (don't know his name but I know people who know who he is)
