So I was lucky enough to get invited by a friend for the early AP preview at 8am today. I got there at 7:45 but my friend didn't show up until 8:30! Grrr. Anyways, Radiator Springs Racers wasnt' even working until like 9:30am!? Are you kidding me? Naturally 85% of the people waited in that line so the rest of the place was almost empty. I walked all over, into every store and food place.

After 2 rides on RSR's and on Mater's Jamboree I decided it was time to go. I really wanted this limited edition iPhone 4 case of the DCA WDI Attraction Posters but it was $37. So as I was walking around there they are. About 20 boxes of Cars Land Mystery Reveal/Conceal sets!! I couldn't believe they were out. I saw a few pin traders and none of them mentioned them. Perhaps they stocked them late or something but I got one of each box the had which was 5.

1. Luigi & Guido w/ conceal Sparky Spark Plug (I actually pulled a Sparky's Spark Plug off a lanyard today too!?!)
2. Sally & Cozy Cone w/ conceal Radiator Springs Chamber of Commerce (VERY nice pin, large gold coin looking)
3. Doc Hudson w/ conceal The Oil Pan Open
4. Sarge w/ conceal Stanley's Statue
5. Flo's V8 w/ conceal VW Bug flying car

They had released early the "Pin Trading" pin with a Luigi spinner. It's a rack pin, yellow, due out Friday but came early in all stores.

Congrats on your early find! But $37 for a phone case is a little much.

There's someone on eBay who is selling the entire set and posted pics of the revealed pins and a concealed set. To my surprise, I only like 4 pins of the entire set (Sparky's Spark Plugs, Radiator Springs Chamber of Commerce seal, The Oil Pan Open sign, and the Rustzee's logo).

I think I will have better chances with just buying/trading from someone directly rather than taking chances on buying boxes.

Supposedly it is like the family protrait pins in that you get the same conceal with the same reveal. So you know 3 of the 4 you want now from my post above.
 
They also had a new rack pin for Luigi's Casa Della Tires that had a FreeD element of 3 rubber tires. I didn't pick it up. The stores seemed pretty full, I can see why they have to have the merchandise in the animation building. No more room for pins. They have to have more attraction pins that are open edition though. They didn't have many. I asked about a preview day pin and they said the AP merchandise preview with the 4 mini-posters was it. Nothing else to commemorate going in early, no club 33 pins either I guess.
 
Wow, congrats, Mark! What great luck!

If anyone else is headed up there this week, I have been saving for this set for months, and have the money ready to Paypal. If anyone can pick up a flat of these for me. I would soo appreciate it! :wiggle:

Thanks for the hint. I change my mind and will go for buying the boxes if they're still around in 1 month when they will be availabe for mail order over the phone.

I hate waiting for LEs to be opened up for mail order :(
 
I went into Ramone's store 2 different times on Saturday night and they had different pins up each time. I guess they put some up and they sold out quickly. I was able to buy 6 of the boxes.
Here are 2 pictures of the Reveal with the Conceal that came in that box underneath it. I don't know if it will be the same each time like it was with the family portraits or not.

we got to go too. I picked up 2 boxes of the r/c pins, havent opened them yet. I really am curious though if the conceals will be the same in each. I thought disney got some flack for that.
 
There is a conceal pin of the Piston Cup trophy that I haven't figured out who the reveal pin is paired with it. My best guess would be Lighting since he was the one who raced in the series.

The Radiator Springs Racers OE pin must have sold out at the earlier previews. They had the Luigi Pin Trading one but that was it.
 
Went to the preview last night and there were no reveal/conceal boxes out on the shelves. We were told that merchandise has been selling well and "they" want to be able to have the shelves fully stocked on Media Day.

Thanks for your pics Mark and Sharon! My camera didn't catch the inside of the rides well and I didn't have half a mind to take pictures of some of the things you guys did! Awesome jobs!
