Hey guys,

I started off my collection properly today bar a pin I had from a few years ago. I was just wondering if there was any information on how the back stamp has changed over the years? I'm talking about the OPT logo mainly. My old pin is from 2006 and the new ones I have are from 2011 and they logo has changed quite a bit. I'm hoping they're all real pins although I'm fairly confident they are!

I don't know about your pins, but I do know about some of the DSF backstamps.

2 years ago when I started, DSF stamping was supposed to go off the edge, no border. In fact thats how I was taught the difference between counterfiet VS real or scrap. Not that DSF had much of that problem until very recently. Store bought DSF stamping had no boarder.

Now, Occationally when I visit DSF, right there on the shelves are pins with boarders on the backstamp. Go figure.

Just in these 2 years I have found pins on store shelves atr disney who's OPT logo's vary greatly. I assume it means they are switching, or using multiple manufacturers
