some are pictures like the elsa below. (can be found at hot topic for $25. currently buy one get one 50% off) its a little bigger than a postcard and has all the colors used for the character.

They are sold by Acme Archivist, they did "variants" that had an LE250 jumbo pin instead of all artwork. PinPics said they had the pin versions as an "exclusive" but really they just bought out the rest Acme Archivist had after they sold them at ComiCon, D23 expo and online on their website. The cels aren't really pin released unless they are the pin variant. Only 4 Disney pin variants were made, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Evil Queen, and Maleficent. There have been a few others like Star Wars and other movie characters made too.
