Cheshire Cat Birdhouse - Occupied!

My parents got me this adorable Jim Shores Cheshire Cat decorative birdhouse a few years ago. Every spring, my husband hangs it outside on our back patio. This is the first year that I notice a small set of birds flying in and out of it. My husband has a Birds of Ohio field guide (nerd alert) and realized we have House Wrens. The other day I was out cleaning the birdbath and I was being dive-bombed by the two little Wrens. As I passed under the Cheshire to get out of the backyard, I heard tiny chirps coming from inside Chessie. I peeked inside and saw two tiny beaks open wide waiting for food. We have BABIES!!!!!

I'm so excited - just had to share.

That is awesome. I love watching baby birds grow. We have a hummingbird that nests just outside of my kitchen window every year. I will say that is a very cool bird house too.
