Cinderella Designer doll

I am struggling for space so decided only to collect the Designer dolls of my favourite characters.
My favourite princess's are 1.Aurora, Ariel,Rapunzel. Cinderella and Snow White!
I have the Rapunzel couples set with mother gothel, Snow couples set with the evil Queen and plan on getting Ariel/Eric to go with Ursula and I also have Aurora and maleficent. I haven't gotten Cinderella because she hasn't got a designer villain:/ My question is, is the the Designer Cinderella that impressive? Would you get her or is the limited edition version better?

Do you think anyone would trade Cinderella for a Snow White couple set?

Personally I think the LE 17" Cinderella is much more impressive than the Designer Cindy. I liked the direction they tried to take with the designer doll, but I felt like she was one of the ones who suffered from execution. She has a nice face, and I like her coach handbag, but overall I think her hair and necklace are better done on the 17" doll. She might not be perfect, but I personally found her more beautiful than the Designer Cinderella.

Thanks for the pictures! I'm leaning towards that one! I love the coach bag and the Marilyn inspired dress but not sure on her hair or face, she looks more like barbie IMO, Cinderellas price seems to have gone up on eBay recently maybe after ask for her for Xmas Would you trade Snow White designer couples for a Cinderella? Or do you think I should keep Snow.

Hmmm well if you wanted the Designer Cinderella I think it would be easy to trade for her with the Fairytale Snow based on her current aftermarket value (112-200). Actually, it seems like 17" Cindy has been selling pretty low recently too, as low as her retail price. There's an auction ending in 14 hours for about $96 usd. I think it might have to do with all the new dolls coming out; collectors (and scalpers) are making room.
So even if you can't find a trader, I would go ahead and grab the Cindy you like. Snow is not my favorite, but if you like her I would hold on to her, at least for a little while. If you decide later she doesn't fit (or you need room :wat I'm sure someone would love her. Or you could find a buyer for her now. Even if you sell her at retail + shipping, you can easily use that money to buy your cinderella.

...but her gown is one of the more creative ones from that collection (along with Designer Ariel and Designer Rapunzel) that are true re-imaginings rather than direct translations of their iconic gowns into 1950s-60s couture. That said, since you do like to pair up your dolls, and since there is no Designer Lady Tremaine, you may want to go for the 17" LE Cinderella.

...Also, were you planning on getting the 2011 Designer Snow White to replace the DFDC Snow White & The Prince, or just buy a second set to conduct a trade? Otherwise, your Designer Queen Grimhilde will be lacking her film counterparts.

I love anything Cinderella.

I personally think the Designer Cinderella is stunning, I have both her and the 17" LE versions (I'm a HUGE Cinderella fan myself), I love both dolls a lot, but I do think the Designer one is gorgeous, she looks so glam and even though her dress isn't quite as traditional as the Cinders 17" LE, her hair is better in the Designer version

Well, my two cents...if you are collecting all the designer dolls of the princesses that you like best, then I say to get the designer Cindy too. I mean, sure she doesn't have a Designer Lady Tremaine to match with (a pebble that is still stuck in my shoe...even though my wallet's happy), but she'd still match with the other designer princesses.
Personally, I thought she is very very pretty. If I collected princesses, she'd have been a no brainer must have. I liked how she looked more "Marylyn" and like a version of Cinderella from a specific time period and fashion. The designer dolls that look like they took a risk, I simply adore.
So, that's my two cents. I say get her...and then also the 17".

Also...who's to say that they won't make another Designer Villains collection later? 0.o

I think people would trade Cinderella for a snow white couple set
I know I would trade a 17" Cinderella for a snow white couple set (missed out on it because I got paid almost 2 weeks late from work!)

I have the Lady Tremaine 17" (LE 1500) doll I'd trade for a Snow White couples set....I know you said you were looking for Cindy though. If you went with the 17" Cindy, this one would match it
