Cleaning Free D Pins

I know that this has been discussed before, but I don't remember seeing what I'm going to suggest. I don't normally collect Free D pins, don't like that feature, but sometimes I have to because it's a pin I need for my collection. Anyway, I recently found one of the pins I needed on a CM lanyard, and the Free D part was a little dirty. One thing that I tried that seems to work pretty well is Kiwi brand Sport Fast Acting Cleaner. I use it to clean my tennies and it works great, so I thought I'd try it on the pin, I got pretty good results! One little spot on my pin has what is probably an old dirt area, that didn't really come off, but generally I liked the results. You can get it in the market, where the shoe cleaning products are, or in a store like Target, where they sell the shoes (cans are on a stand-alone rack or whatever). So there's my suggestion...
