CM character badge pin--fake?

Hi all...because I'm busy doing 10,000 loads of laundry post-vacation, I don't have time (or the inclination, to tell you the truth, lol) to look at posts to try and find the answer to my question: I came across this pin on a CM lanyard and traded for it. I know this is a CM pin mystery series (badges). I got the Chip one. I'm wondering if it's a fake, because on the back is the notorious "border," that is, the Mickey pattern doesn't go over the edge of the pin. Yes, it's probably fake. I have been wanting these for a while and unfortunately I ended up with fakes of Donald, Chip, and Dumbo. They all came from the same ebay seller who claimed that they didn't know and gave me a refund. They all looked nice on the front but the backs had a border like you described.

I got one too - that border was really obvious.
