Do you guys have any certain collections or characters that you just can't see the appeal?

Mine:

Stitch- zero interest whatsoever. I don't even want the Stitch/Peter Pan crossover pins!

Jessica Rabbit by herself- I'm ok with her if Roger Rabbit is there... otherwise it just doesn't feel Disneyish to me.

I really don't like tinker bell. I dont think its the character as much as the way disney has made her past the original Peter Pan film.

I agree re: Tinkerbell. I love her as a jealous, murderous, backstabbing, uh... female dog. Her lighter, kinder personality? Not so much.

I don't mind Jessica Rabbit, but I do like her a lot better paired up with Roger. They're probably one of my favorite Disney couples.

IDK. There are a lot of characters that aren't really my thing, but I see the appeal in each so I'm not sure whether any of them count.

I will say that Rapunzel is kind of dead smack in the middle of my personal princess/movie rankings, so I am kind of glad that she doesn't appeal that much to me because of her high costs. Although Anna managed to sneak her way up to become my third favorite princess of all time, so I'm like noooooooooo as far as it comes to her. This is like the one thing where I don't feel like a hipster saying I wish my favs were less popular.

Jessica Rabbit and Tink for me. I don't really like these characters. I would have lots of Peter Pan pins as i love Peter Pan but Tinks in so many of them!
also being more of an alternative person i don't do "girly" so i don't collect princesses. They are too sugar sweet for me I don't do dresses or pretty hair lol
but that's just me
there has been a few princess pins i have thought about but that's mainly ones with princes in too, but there has never ever been one Tink pin that i have wanted!

Its funny (dont kill me for saying this), but DH's favorite Disney movies are The Lion King and Aladdin, and I just dont care for them. I find the movies kind of boring really.

Im also not a Stitch fan.

I'd probably say the muppets too. I Love them and find them hilarious but the pins just don't do anything for me.

I've never been a fan of snow white, sleeping beauty or cinderella. My sister also forced me to watch mary poppins and 101 dalmations almost every night for years, and I cant stand watching them anymore xD

I agree... I love Tink in Peter Pan, but not so much in the Fairies/Pixie Hollow franchise. I still do collect her in Peter Pan related merch though! One of my first collections was Tink- before her new image came about.

I don't really care about the new and hot pins, but if I was going to cast any judgement, it would be against Pixar, Muppets, Star Wars, or Marvel pins. While I know those are all intellectual properties owned by the Walt Disney Company, when I think of "Disney" I think of the Disney brand. Pixar, Muppets, Star Wars, and Marvel are not Disney brand. I don't like seeing them in the parks, I don't like seeing them on blogs, I don't like seeing the pins. It's exacerbated by the fact that I just don't like Pixar movies, or Star Wars, or Marvel (I'm more of a DC Comics guy), but that's beside the point. They're not Disney.

Thats funny. I love Tink but dont collect anything else Peter Pan related.

Interesting how everyone's tastes are so different and unique.

Also Figment. Mainly because I dont even know wheres hes from? He does look cute but if someone ever asks me what hes about I would have no idea!

I love the fact that everyone has different interests and different collections. I really enjoy seeing any collection, whether or not it's something I would personally want to collect.

Figment came about because of Epcot. He is the embodiment of the phrase 'figment of your imagination' and the mascot for their Imagination pavilion. Most people who dont love Epcot don't really know much about him.

As for collections I don't care for, it would be anything Pixar and Jessica Rabbit. I am just not a huge fan of most Pixar movies. I love Brave (favorite Pixar movie) but I hate how most of the pins look.

I would say Rapunzel because Tangled was a very boring movie to sit through for me

Also I don't like Lion King, Brave or wreck-it ralph

I think it's cool that everyone likes different things. If we all collected the same thing there would be no trading. And that would be no fun.

As for me I see no point in collecting Star Wars. If I happened across any I'd practically give them away. And that would make some Star Wars collector very happy.
