I have recently posted a few comments on Pin Pics where I have 2 of the same pin detailing the difference in one case to try and find out which one is authentic and to also warn others of the difference and in another case to say for definite which was right as I had bought one and traded another and they keep being deleted - why does this happen?

I believe they asked for comparison comments to be discussed on the boards and then once some hard facts were discovered then they could be added to the listings. The comments get a little out of control when people start having discussions. Also, you may want to check the description of the pins you have commented on as then may have already incorporated them in the listing.

As erudolf already said, comments on PinPics can get out of hand at times. The comment system is meant to add information to a pin not ask a question, that's what forum sites are for . PinPics has changed the policy regarding comments to help cut down on the overflow of comments, see the following post... (http://disneypinforum.com/showthread.php?5442-Pin-Pics-Comments&highlight=pinpics+comments) If there are facts, then a comment is warranted on a pin listing. May I ask what was the pin you were commenting on?
