I have a few concerns over an ebay seller whom I recently won an auction on. They have almost all good feedback, but those negative reviews have me concerned. The pins are on their original cards and I have not yet had a chance to look at them closely, but the same pins just showed up again in separate auctions. I don't know if they just might have a couple extras or if something more nefarious is going on. I can pm anyone who would be willing to give some insight. Thank you!

EDIT: The issue has been resolved! Thank you everyone for your help! :)

Which pins were they? Unfortunately a lot of pins have been faked now including DSF, WDI and Paris pins.
They are: 98986, 96589, 106245

Best thing to do is stay off eBay when it comes to pins. Can't risk it.
unfortunately ebay is the only place I can get them due to almost no pinpics trade replies, I live too far away from any of the parks to visit them regularly, and I can never seem to get a day off when trade conventions come to town. I have had plenty of great ebay pin transactions that highly outnumber the bad, very few scrappers and almost all of my grails have been acheived that way. Unless a Disney pin selling site comes along that is popular enough to use, besides DPF, I really have no choice.

PM me the seller and I'll let you know if I've ever had any dealings with them.
You can also pm me. I know a lot of the bad sellers.

Sending a pm to both of you right now. :)

Does the seller's name start with the 4th letter of the alphabet and end with good?

In that case, that is a bad seller.

Nope, but thanks for the update. I have been told by some users that the person I bought then from is known for selling fakes so I'll send them back if they turn out to be so.

Sadly those three you've listed have all been scrapped.
I think there are a couple of threads about the WDI Rapunzel at Disneyland set. To the best of my knowledge, only a couple from that whole set haven't been scrapped.
All of the Paris Christmas PTN logo pins have been scrapped and I think the other pins from that release have been too. If a Paris pin does not have a sequential LE number on the back then that's a sign of a scrapper.
And the DSF poster pin has been sold multiple times for low prices so that's been scrapped too :(

its really disappointing that so many Rapunzel pins are faked now :(

The best way to check is to look at sold listings - the PTN pins show up a lot and have only been selling for a couple of dollars.
The same with the DSF poster and the WDI carousel horse one - lots of sales and lots of current listings.

I search ebay pretty much daily for Rapunzel/Tangled items so I see a lot of the scrapper pins listed :(

96589 is the DSF - Circus Poster Series - Rapunzel? I'll send you a pm if it's not a problem!

Thank you for letting me know, I just received the pins in the mail and I wont even bother posting photos, I can tell they are all fakes. I will be returning them.
Thank you everyone for your help and concern!
