So if you have been following the D23 pin releases you have seen that there has been quite a few to say the least. What happens to the pins that do not sell-out after the Event?? Do any of them make it to the East Coast for collectors here to have a chance to pick them up? Maybe go up on the DisneyShopping site? Thanks.

I think Disney Shopping is selling some D23 pins tomorrow but I think they are exclusive to shopdisney only.
 
Two years ago the left over WDI 'Say Cheese' and probably some other pins were for sale in MOG (when I was in the store for a D23 access event.) So MOG and DEC/'whatever it is called now' would be sold in their respective cast stores.

DSSH released left overs online during their online releases two years ago. But since these online releases are now CA only... not east coast. :(
 
In my experience, any left over MOG or TWDC store pins go to their respective on site locations.

That being said, I think nearly every MOG pin sold out this year with the exception of the world and map pins.

The paint pins from TWDC will likely stick around at the physical location in California for a long time.

In past Expos, like DL pin events, any left over pins, specific to Disneyland have been released at the park the next day/week.

I did see at least, hmm...6-8 of the JOY series pins late yesterday afternoon. So again, my guess they'll be at DL, soon.

The Castle pins (@Poohlady5) are nice. I was tempted, but decided to wait and see if they'll be at the park.
