Hi, was just wondering how much money on average have people being paying for this doll? Do you think her price will lower any time soon? And is their anyone selling one or no of a place other than ebay to try? I have been looking out for her for a few months and their never seems to be many for sale on eBay and she sells for£250 -£300-$391! She looks so beautiful and will fit in perfect with my sleeping beauty collection. Wish me look saving lol! Xoxo
edit forgot to ask,in the box the bottom of her dress, looks very stiff and one layered, but I noticed in someone's unboxed picture it actually has layers! Has anyone managed to display her in her box but make her dress look less stiff?hope you get what I'm trying to say!Their must be a way to make it look like it has folds. Please post pictures x

Best wishes for your search for a Designer Aurora! She is a pretty doll, but she is actually my least favorite from the collection despite the fact that Aurora is one of my favorite princesses (I think I kind of blasted her a bit on the Disney Doll Appreciation Thread...http://disneypinforum.com/showthread.php?8244-Disney-Dolls-Appreciation-Discussion/page27).

As for the official Designer Aurora's skirt, I do get what you are saying, and I don't think that there is a truly satisfactory way of giving her skirt the draped look as depicted in the design sketch, because the way her skirt is attached to the bodice has the fabric stretched out quite smoothly in the front with practically no gathering allowance to be able to manipulate the fabric to ever truly hang in the dramatic soft folds that one would want for Aurora. Both DRJ1828 and Meriennes have deboxed Designer Aurora and the cone-skirt effect shows in both situations. I am not completely sure if the tulle petticoat is removable (it probably is), so if you removed that, you might be able to play with the fabric some.

I made my own Designer Aurora gown, and in giving her a satin skirt lined in muslin, it also has a stiff appearance, but I was able to get more folds and visual texture in the skirt. My next attempt will probably use a satin underskirt to provide body and a draped chiffon top layer over that to get those drapes in there!

I think you will just have to keep checking ebay and hope for the best. I'm from the uk as well so I know ont get many of the designer dolls on (I wsouldnt like to buy from usa incase I have problems with custom charges)
I recently got mulan for a very good price... So hang in there, you never know what will come up. You could always post in the 'wanted' section on the forum too.
Good Luck xoxo

I have listed my entire collection for sale yesterday in the "other disney items for sale" section....all prices are listed, and in in the uk. Just encase you're interested.

I'm so excited for you too Matthew!!! I'm so glad she's going to a good home!! If you know anyone looking for the others please point them in the direction of my sales thread
