I just found out that Chase is no longer giving bonus points for purchases made on the Disney Visa card as of July 12 or something. I had hip replacement surgery at the end of June and was kinda off line/recovering for a few weeks but this seems like a really big deal. Was it discussed here?

I just called and spoke with Chase and the Credit cards are still getting points but Debit cards are not.

Yeah, my husband and I both have Disney visa cards and we've been getting points on ours still. But Blacksmoke is right, I do know that they're not going to give rewards for the debit cards anymore.

With the new rules reducing the merchant swipe fees went into effect almost all large banks got rid of their rewards programs for debit cards.
