Did anyone else get an email from the Disney Character Outlet about their online store? I took a look and saw they have pins but they don't look like park pins. The backer cards are different, not black. Anyone know where the pins they are selling come from?

I took a look and if I had the right seller, it looks like they are Jerry Leigh pins. I am going to have to watch them to see if they get the Phineas and Ferb pins.

Actually its a good thing.

Jerry Leigh is an authorized Disney licencee. They have permission to design and destribute Disney pins and recently have been coming up with some very popular pins. They were once cheaper - $4.00 to $6.00 but with their increase in appeal most are now selling for about $7-8.00 retail. They are also tradable in the park having a disney (c) on the backstamp.

While many of the designs are "variations" on previous Disney pins, they have come up with a few winners - Aloah Tinker Bell, Tinker Bell with rose, Toys will be Toys.

And unlike Sedsuma's and Propins, they tend to be equal quality to normal Disney pins and welcome additions to a collection.
