This Christmas I was lucky enough to get 3 beautiful pins. Two of which are my grails. :)
Here's a picture, (Sorry its so big) The Calendar one from the DSF sadly, did not come on a card backing. If any one has an extra let me know. ;)

Yes, I was double shocked! Normally, I get an "I don't know what you have..." And I have to buy my own. But my Dad was visiting friends who were getting rid of some things and he thought of me. So I got this WDCC set

My adorable little sister gave me one pin for three of my collections. Evil Queen, Haunted Mansion, and "Cool" Mickey.

No pictures, but I got the current DVC park set and two Haunted Mansion character connection boxes, one of which had Constance in it. :-D
 
My mother in law bought me.. the disneyland 60th anniversary starter pack with landyard. I have never gotten pins for Christmas before.

Plus my mother in law bought me the working Cogsworth clock... i was so excited to get that one.
 
No pics, but I was lucky enough to be at DLR and DSSH this week, with a couple of Benjamins burning a hole in my pocket!!! Sooooooooo, I bought a few pins!!! Also, my daughter stuck a pin on one of my gifts, my wife gave me a board to display some of my pins, my mother-in-law made me some homemade pin-book pages for my BIG BOOK, and I received a gift card that is to be used SOLELY for pin purchases. Lovin' my pin collecting and trading!
 
Hey. We need a thread that has family info. There has to be a trick to getting these little things as a Xmas gift. I never get pins as a gift. Wait I take that back. My cusion likes to get me hooters or hard rock as a gift from time to time. He knows I love disney pins but he never gets them. It's like a fun game to him. Get me pins but make sure the are non disney. Silly guy. Lol. Nice pins everone got. Now tell how you get loved ones to buy them for you.
 
I've told my wife if she ever wants to get me a pin for a gift she just needs to reach out to some of the forum members on Pinpics and they will help her. She said it's too risky because she's worried about paying too much or buying a scrapper. Maybe someday.
 
I usually tell my family not to get me pins because of scrapers or such. However my mother in law just buys me random pins when she goes to Disneyland. My fiancé... if i want a pin i just tell him before the auction is up and i usually get it.
 
I recieved this amazing grail from my be, but I had to give him a nudge in the direction. He doesn't keep up with pins.

So, my husband has never bought a pin for me before (my family never knows which ones I have vs. which ones I want, and they're afraid of buying scrappers), and I don't expect him to get me any. So BOY WAS I SURPRISED at my Christmas gift this year!!!
