Hello Everyone

Im looking for some advice on Disney Pin Storage. Ive seen that some people store them in binders that they press the pin into, and ive seen the pin boards and stuff.

But what ways are there to store pins with their original backing cards? Is there like a folder with plastic sleeves that you can slot them into?

Any help or advice would be great!

any baseball card sleeves work.. i re-enforce the holes with packing tape but they work well

i only use the sleeves for traders and secure the pin back outside the plastic to secure the pin in its slot

Sounds like a good idea, but what about bigger pins like Jumbos?

Do you have any pic's of how you do it? Sorry to ask so much! :P

For jumbos I usually use binder sleeves for photo albums.I will try to post a picture tomorrow.

If your jumbo is a Disney Auctions or DS.com pin, with a backing card, they make sleeves that big....usually for postcards. They have collectible sleeves for a ton of sizes. The ones you want for DS and DS.com sizes usually are 2 or 3 sleeves per page. You can get them from any comic shop online or ebay.

If your jumbo is boxed, I recommend keeping them in the box.

Finally, make sure you get decent quality sleeves. The light grade are too flimsy to support the weight of pins, and the super heavy grade (like the one Disney sells) aren't acid free...so they could hurt the pins over time. I'd recommend the medium grade ones that Ultra Pro makes.

Also, to make the pins lie (lay?) flat in the sleeves, you'll want to take the rubber backs off, slide the pin in, push through the plastic, and re-secure the backings.

Most baseball card shops will carry odd-sized baseball card sleeves. That is what I use. You can get 1 slot per page, 2 slots, 4, 3, 6, 8, 12, 16, etc. Standard is 9.

Thanks for all the help guys, I definitely need to look into this.

I think a nice protective folder that you can flick through to look at your pins will be quite nice.
