Disney Princess Designer Collection DOLLS --- NOW WITH PICTURES PAGE 3! ---
Thanks for the kind words. Hopefully you will get both Snows soon.

They all GORGEOUS in 2000x2000 Many thanks!!!!!!

You're welcome. I'm glad I could give something back to this wonderful community. I really should get some sleep, but I'm so wound up over the events of the past day that I can't go to bed. I think I shall post links to previously released Designer Princess Dolls, too, just to be complete.

I've been following this thread and realize most of the people posting are "doll" people rather than "pin" people but hopefully there's someone who can answer my question. And please keep in mind that I'm VERY new to pins if it seems like a dumb question.

There are lots of suggestions posted here on how Disney can better handle the Monday mania and all of the suggestions are very good. One that keeps popping up is to limit in-store purchases to one per household. It seems to me, based on the stories posted here, that the most difficult probem for Disney is the BAM store releases because crowds are harder to control, especially with angry people. And maybe the easiest way to fix the problem is to eliminate the BAM store release altogether.

So my question is this: How does Disney do on the hot pin releases? I thought most LEs were 2 per person, not per household. Has a pin release ever shut down the site?

They usually sell pins online and limit it to 1 per person for the first week.

At the parks- They usually distribute wristbands at the parks starting at a certain time.

Disney is REALLY bad about crowd control- should have seen World of color lines they made us RUN to where we wanted to go.
There's also a really racist argument that I overheard in line too- there was a father with his little girl and this lady shoved the little girl so hard that she fell- they started getting in a verbal argument with very nasty language being said- one word in particular was heard by a cast member, which seemed to have neglected the fact that she was harassing him and his daughter- but obviously the cast member sided with the lady- the person of his race too, even though there were a lot of us who told that cast member that she was harassing him...

haha..sorry..just telling you how BAD it can be at the parks too--Disney just isn't good with crowds...wonder why?

I can reluctantly accept blaming "computer glitches" for allowing my successful online order to suddenly be cancelled this morning. But what I can't accept is to be 9th in line and watching the first 5 customers buy the entire inventory because Disney Store permits two per customer.

Reevaluating the situation is good but for me it's too little too late because (other than Rapunzel) then the most popular dolls are already in the hands of the ebayers.

Just woke up to an important update email from Disney. It reads " you ARE the father!" Oops wrong show. I am NOT receiving the Snow White doll. I guess I'll try online again but will start sleeping out at the Disney Store on Sunday night!!! Dam you eBay, Dam you all to heck. ;-}

Product and Review Pages for Released Designer Dolls

Here are links to the Product Pages and Review Pages for all the Disney Princess Designer Dolls released so far, in order of their release. By the way, you can still add your own reviews for each doll, even though they are all sold out, and are all "hidden" pages. Both Cinderella and Ariel have reviews that were written only yesterday, Monday September 19!

I placed two orders Monday: one for Snow White and one for my pins.
The pin order has already shipped.
The SW order still says: Active but not Shipped.....

I am so sorry to hear that. That really stinks!

May I ask what time your order went through?

Did anyone else here get a rejection?

I called guest services who confirmed that my doll order placed at 12:49 would ship, so I would guess that means anyone who ordered before that is in the clear. Although, I suppose it's possible the man I spoke to was mistaken-- I'll be nervous until Snow White actually shows up at my house!
Off topic, but does anyone know how fast ornaments usually sell out? I am in love with the new Ariel and Rapunzel, but would like to wait until the next doll to order so I can buy them with free shipping. I wish I'd seen them in time to add to my Snow White order--but then again, that might have made me too late to get her so it's just as well.

I agree completely with Ken... some of just joined for the friendly conversation and sharing our opinions, I also am not a pin collector, the designer dolls would be my first collectable item! and I found the forums insight on the dolls to be interesting... I would also understand if you locked the thread but I still think thats not going to stop people from selling them on ebay. I hope Disney does make it one per household. But I think we should not give into purchasing the dolls on ebay for extremely high prices... if we continue to not bid on the items and not create a demand for these dolls the ebay sellers will have no choice but to sell them at retail price they are not true collectors and will not want to keep them. Its also understandable some people are die hard collectors but giving into those prices is ridiculous! I hope Disney makes a few changes and we can all help each other into getting the dolls we want... Its getting tough but good luck to all!!

It's not hacking the website. The dolls are the same way as with the pins they always go live before the search function works.

online it's 2 per order but there was a glitch with snow white and there wasn't a stop and people could add as many as they wanted in quantities of 2 on 1 order

I just hope they don't have us call in like they did before on the pins while they updated their website when they set the limits. I still haven't gotten over listening to whatever Disney Channel elevator music it was for a good 30 minutes on hold LOL

How'd you find these? I've had no luck searching for them on their site...

It was Mitchel Musso!!!!! It was so bad! And it kept cutting in and out. Oh, those mornings were pure torture...

I remember calling in too. I don't think it will come to that. When we were calling in there were only maybe 100 - 300 pins. They don't have the man power to handle the phones for all of these dolls.

For all of those who are finding preview pictures and other types of links, please do not divulge any information as to where and how you are finding them here in this public forum. We do not want unsavory lurkers learning new ways to get to these dolls. Thanks everyone! :salute:

Especially not with the demand they are causing. The Disney Store Facebook is a mess of complaints. It scares me.

We drove more than 2 hours(almost 3) and waited 3 hours in line to be able to get ours. It was insanity. People that were showing up close to opening were freaking out because there were already more people than dolls available and they knew it. This whole situation is sad.

I had a dream last night about standing in line for hours to get a doll! I think I've been thinking about them too much lately!

oh my goodness, good point!!!! sorry I asked, definitely had a duh moment!!!!! sorry about that.

Lol, on a different note did anyone else see the princess ornaments that Disney has this year? Lol, sooo cute, ballerina princesses and there's even a rapunzel one!
