Once again, the Disney Store seems to have a failed line of communication throughout their own retail stores. I was at my local Disney Store in Colma, CA yesterday, and the wall where they display the remaining dolls of the series were still openly displayed. There were also some journals and nail polish available, too. The whole Disney Store division of the Disney compnay seems so disorganized and disjointed. The stores are almost acting like franchises.
Oh, and to answer my own question from way back, the display Designer Tiana doll does come with a tiny frog Naveen. He's got green bejewelled eyes. Super-cute! This again makes me wonder why Designer Rapunzel has a hand mirror and not a small Pascal...
If I end up buying a Rapunzel, I'm definitely making a small Pascal out of Sculpey clay for her. I really dislike the hand mirror she comes with.
SHES SHIPPED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im seriously sooo happy i was really scared for a while there thanks everyone for your support:hsd:

Alternatively, if you have the original Disney Store Rapunzel doll, she came with a tiny Pascal. The current Disney Store Rapunzel doll does not seem to come with a Pascal, so it would have to be the first wave version that came in the unusually shaped box. In any case, Designer Rapunzel with Pascal would be so cute!
Yes! Her long beautiful curls! The love you said is wonderful.
i will be think you and Moondance are the best guest in this topicReally.
Now i really go to bed. I am so sleepy! (Here in Milan is 23:20 lol)
I didn't buy that version, but in any event I think a stylized Pascal (possibly pink like Rose posted, or possibly bejewelled eyes like frog prince Naveen) would go better with the Designer Rapunzel. Plus, I love sculpting!

Thanks, Rose! You and Robyn are such sweethearts! I just want everyone here who actually wants to keep the dolls for their own collections (or their loved ones' collections) to actually get the dolls that they want. It's so upsetting to hear when someone's hopes and dreams are shattered by the you-know-whos! I almost wish we set up some sort of co-op plan before this all began to ensure that we all get the dolls we want. I guess it's never too late for that...
I'll definitely post pictures! I may also make a barbie sized version of Pascal modeling Rapunzel's dress design, because I love that scene. If, no, when you get Designer Rapunzel (gotta keep positive thinking!), if you don't mind posting your pics of your special Pascal, that would be great to see!

I'm also planning on ruining the resale value of my Designer Snow White (fingers crossed that she actually arrives, that is... still haven't received shipping confirmation but two disney employees have assured me that I did in fact successfully buy her) by tweaking her to make her look more like the sketch.
Oooh, so far as we've seen, if they have not canceled your Designer Snow White doll order yet, you should be fine.
Pascal in the replica of Rapunzel's dress would be so darling! If I had 2 Designer Snow White dolls, I would totally open one up to trim and tease her hair to look like the sketch. She would look even more stunning! I actually don't mind her 1960's hairdo (my mom had that hairdo when she was a teenager), but the doll's hair really does not look anything like the sketch.
For the Designer Aurora doll, when I get her, I'll probably stare at her for a long while to debate whether or not I'll follow through with my hair-brained plan to take her hair down and try to restyle her bangs. The Designer Aurora doll's hair really saddens me!
I was just looking at the pictures of Designer Aurora both on that eBay listing and the official Disney Store pictures, and her hair really makes me want to cry! Her bangs look like a crooked croissant and the updo-bun is just so wrong on so many levels! Sweet Aurora, what did they do to you?
Aurora is my favorite princess, but they really missed the mark with this doll. Her outfit is not extremely different or inspired, and the hair is horrendous. I feel like I have to get her though to complete the set, but she is honestly my least favorite of the bunch.
I wish they would have put her in blue for once, or they could have done a blue AND pink dress...maybe a skirt with alternating pink and blue cascades, or a pink and blue ombre fabric...and they didn't even give her different accessories! Her tiara and necklace look exactly like what she usually wears. I kind of feel this way about Tiana as well...her dress looks basically like what she usually wears.
I still like them and think they are pretty....but I just wonder why they took it to another level with some of the dolls like Ariel...who has a completely unique dress, hairstyle, and hair accessory, and not with others...
While I would love to restyle Snow's hair, I'm not confident with my doll hair styling abilities to do so. I am going to add a small black ribbon to her waist (and possibly tighten it), add a tiny chain to her clutch, and possibly repaint her eyeshadow (to give it more of a gradation). I may also do something about her mouth--I read somewhere that it looks like her "teeth" are red, and if that really is the case I'll definitely paint them red. Also, while not actually something related to the sketch, I kinda want to add some sort of embellishment to the clasp on her cloak.
If I decide to get myself an Aurora, I will definitely attempt restyling her hair. I hate it so very much that I don't think I'd even want an Aurora. I may buy one to try to trade for Ariel though--I didn't purchase her because I was disappointed in her dress (it doesn't look anything like anything she wears in the movies), but her face looks so pretty that I wish I'd bought one and redressed her. But Snow White is definitely my favorite in the collection, so I'm fine if she's the only one I actually end up with.
Speaking of hairstyles, did anyone actually like Belle's beehive better than the elegant updo in the sketch? I was massively disappointed when I saw images of her.
+1

The store down here in Santa Clara, CA still has them on display as well. The display location and size had changed though because they have so little stock it didn't make sense to have them on the big wall anymore. I don't think the display dolls were to be shipped back; just the current dolls that were shipped as restock were going back to headquarters to fill online orders.
I have to totally agree with you on how each store is operating so differently. That's why I'm half afraid to go switch to a different store.. Nothing is reliable at this point, BAM stores or online.
someone posted here yesterday that they were the ones who received the Aurora by mistake instead of Mulan not sure if it's them selling or if there were others that it happened to as well
