Do they sell pins? I will be there in 2 weekends! I cannot wait to get back to NYC!! Before we moved to FL I was up in NYC about once every other month, and ESPECIALLY at Christmas Time! I havent been into pin trading that long, so I never went to the Disney store up there looking for pins, and I have also read that they have relocated into Times Square....any suggestions for specific pins that I can only get up there??
 
I dont think the stores carry pins anymore mainly because they were so easy for people to steal ;(
 
I was there in June and found a few pins. They have a very limited selection though

They have them to the left of the cash registers on the bottom floor. If you get some, I would love to see them
They had some other ones other than the ones I just showed, but I didn't particularly like them. So, this is what I found. And I couldn't get every pin since I was going on a Disney Cruise docked in New York to Canada!
 
I know it's not New York, but I went to the Disney Store in Tysons Corner, VA (near DC) today and they did NOT stock pins. I asked and they said it was for the reason 5titch mentioned.
 
There are 3 Disney Store that sell pins exclusive to their city: Times Square in New York, The Loop in Chicago, and Union Square in San Francisco. I'll be at the Union Square store next week
 
I was there this summer and they have the Walt Disney Studios Pins that are NORMALLY exclusive to Burbank but they have them there! ALSO since NYC Disney Store is a BIG main disney store, they have the disney online store pins. For example, I saw the Mickey Mouse Club and Disney Store Online Exclusive pin sets sold there So you may find some online stuff for sale there! Hope that helps
 
Hi there I was there in November and they had two frankenweenie pin sets all limited to 300 they are put upstairs with the frankenweenie merchandise and are not with the other pins they had around 30 to 40 sets leaft on shelf hope this helps
 
I live right by NYC and was there maybe a week ago. There aren't many pins (at all), but there are some. They always have the NYC exclusive pins which are different and they tend to carry pins that are available on disneystore.com sometimes like other people have said. There isn't really a spot for pins in the store and they randomly placed throughout and if you ask any CM about pins, they will tell you the same thing, that they don't really carry pins and never really did. I would recommend not getting your hopes up because I was quite disappointed when I first went there are generally am everytime I go there in terms of pins.
 
Thanks everyone for your input! Its funny...I will also be going to the Disney store in Tysons too! LOL...we are driving from FL to VA (where my hubby is from and my father in law still lives...in Manassas, to be exact...) and then I am driving to York PA to Photograph a wedding (did I ever mention that I am a photographer??) and then we are spending a few days in Washington DC, and then spending the following weekend in NYC. All in 10 days! Ack!! I will be on a random pin hunt then to look for them all about the store in NYC. Now at least, my expectations arn't too high!
